It’s time to get back in the ring.

MGM has released a “Creed II” featurette, and it showcases the man who will challenge Adonis “Donnie” Creed (Michael B. Jordan). Based on what we’ve seen, he’s a beast, but that should come as no surprise. Donnie’s new rival is none other than Viktor Drago (Florian Munteanu), the son of the man who killed his father in “Rocky IV.”

Munteanu, a real-life boxer, certainly looks like the real deal. The video shares some facts that would intimidate most opponents, like how he’s 6-foot-4, 245 lbs, and has a 79-inch reach. Plus, he makes training look like it’s nothing.

As you can see, Viktor is a very lean, mean fighting machine. He’s not messing around, and obviously Donnie won’t be, either. Jordan has opened up about what the storyline means for the movie and how “really, it’s about life,” as he told the Toronto Sun in September.

We’ll see how it all goes down when “Creed II” hits theaters on Nov. 21.

Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) prepares for the challenge of his life in “Creed II,” which just shared Trailer II.

With guidance from Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone), boxing phenom Adonis Creed prepares to fight Viktor Drago (Florian Munteanu) — son of Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren), who killed Adonis’ father Apollo Creed during a boxing match and was later defeated by Rocky.

Rocky Balboa: “That kid was raised in hate. He’s dangerous.”

Here’s the official synopsis for the “Creed” sequel:

“Life has become a balancing act for Adonis Creed. Between personal obligations and training for his next big fight, he is up against the challenge of his life. Facing an opponent with ties to his family’s past only intensifies his impending battle in the ring. Rocky Balboa is there by his side through it all and, together, Rocky and Adonis will confront their shared legacy, question what’s worth fighting for, and discover that nothing’s more important than family. Creed II is about going back to basics to rediscover what made you a champion in the first place, and remembering that, no matter where you go, you can’t escape your history.”

Much like the Rocky movies before it, the Creed series could have serious longevity.

Star Michael B. Jordan has been teasing “Creed II” lately, and he hinted that there will be even more sequels in the future. While speaking with the Toronto Sun, he made it clear that he’s open to following in co-star Sylvester Stallone‘s footsteps and reprising his role for a long time. He said he’d be “lucky” to be playing Adonis Creed in new movies even decades from now.

“I want to keep making them as long as they’re good,” Jordan said. “I always want to keep my finger on the pulse. Forty two years, I mean, who knows?”

The actor might not always be as eager to get in the ring, though. He admitted that he has already seen aging take a toll.

“I’m not saying I’m old by any means, but the process of getting in shape was a bit harder for ‘Creed II,’” Jordan told the Sun.

Being in shape was especially important for the upcoming film. Adonis Creed is heading into his next big fight, and it’s one that has extra significance given his opponent’s ties to his family. A new photo was recently released, and it shows off the intensity.

“Creed II” hits theaters Nov. 21.

It’s not every fan who will bring a cardboard version of you to prom, so Michael B. Jordan repaying some of that love.

The “Creed II” star recently arranged a surprise for Audeva Agyeman, his fan who made a life-size cardboard cutout of him and took it to prom after her boyfriend canceled on her at the last minute. The photos went viral in April, putting her on Jordan’s radar. Now, the video of them meeting is spreading around the internet, too — as it should, because her reaction is so delightful.

Jordan posted the video via Instagram Wednesday and wrote that he “had to show her some love” given that he couldn’t actually be Agyeman’s prom date. He orchestrated a “Creed II” set visit for her because he thought her stunt was “super sweet,” and then surprised her by being there when she was told he wouldn’t be.

Adonis Creed is ready to get back in the ring.

Two new images from “Creed II” have been released and both are a showcase for very buff star Michael B. Jordan.  It’s clear Adonis is in peak form as he trains with Rocky (Sylvester Stallone) for a major fight.

Of course, this isn’t just any fight — his opponent is the son of Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren), the Russian villain who dealt deadly blows to Apollo Creed in “Rocky IV.”

    Here’s the sequel’s official synopsis:
