Sony will test whether Hollywood can support another cinematic universe of Marvel heroes with the release of Venom. Tom Hardy stars as Eddie Brock, a disgraced journalist who bonds with an alien symbiote and becomes a reluctant superhero. Michelle Williams and Riz Ahmed also star.
