Flying Dutchman (Mark Hamill) and SpongeBob SquarePants (Tom Kenny) in ‘The SpongeBob Movie: Search For SquarePants’ from Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon.
Long since the original animated series debuted in 1999, ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ has become one of the most popular and successful franchises in pop culture. And it has been putting out movies since 2004, in theaters and on Netflix.
So any new ‘SpongeBob’ movie naturally has the challenge of appealing to the various different fan bases –– with, as usual, a focus on younger audiences who spark to its manic energy.
Script and Direction
Gary (Tom Kenny), Mr. Krabs (Clancy Brown) and Squidward (Rodger Bumpass) in ‘The SpongeBob Movie: Search For SquarePants’ from Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon.
With a script by ‘South Park’ veteran Pam Brady and Matt Lieberman (‘The Christmas Chronicles’), the new movie also benefits as always from a storyline cooked up by series creatives Marc Ceccarelli and Kaz.
Essentially, if you’re already a fan of this one (particularly a young one), it features pretty much everything you’d hope for –– silly jokes, wild cutaways, zany energy and more –– and if not, you might wonder what the fuss is all about.
Cast and Performances
Flying Dutchman (Mark Hamill) in ‘The SpongeBob Movie: Search For SquarePants’ from Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon.
The regular main cast are all back in their roles, and the usual energy between them is present and correct.
New this time are Mark Hamill (he replaced Brian Doyle-Murray, the usual actor for the Flying Dutchman), who brings just the right spark to the role, and Regina Hall, who has a nice edge as the Dutchman’s second-in-command, Barb.
Final Thoughts
Patrick Star (Bill Fagerbakke) and SpongeBob SquarePants (Tom Kenny) in ‘The SpongeBob Movie: Search For SquarePants’ from Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon.
Given that this one originated as a streaming-only title headed for Netflix, but has ended up with a theatrical release, it’s an encouraging sign. And the movie has enough entertainment power to be worthy of the jump.

‘One Battle After Another’ is the latest Warner Bros. movie to top the box office.
Paul Thomas Anderson’s ambitious latest stars Leonardo DiCaprio.
‘Gabby’s Dollhouse’ opened second.
It was certainly a gamble for Warner Bros. to back Paul Thomas Anderson’s latest film –– for all the acclaim the filmmaker has accrued, he rarely opens to giant box office figures. And even with a bankable star such as Leonardo DiCaprio in the lead, a budget in excess of $130 million was always going to be tough to turn into profit.
Still, a launch of $22.4 million, enough to top the box office this weekend is certainly healthier for ‘One Battle After Another’ than some might have predicted.

With plenty of positive reviews and good reactions from cinemagoers, it’s probably about as solid as an original, long movie with controversial themes (social justice, political violence) might have expected.
It opened to $26.1 million across 74 markets, making for a $48.5 million global start.
Of course, it has a long road to travel to get to profitability, but it has premium format screenings and plenty of buzz to help it build legs.
And it represents another good result for Warner Bros., which has already enjoyed success with the likes of ‘Sinners’ and ‘A Minecraft Movie’ this year.

Second place this weekend went to the kid-friendly blend of live-action and animation that is show adaptation ‘Gabby’s Dollhouse’. The Universal movie opened to $13.5 million, and $19 million worldwide.
Horror title ‘The Conjuring: Last Rites’ clung on to third, adding $6.8 million, ahead of misfiring Renny Harlin sequel effort ‘The Strangers: Chapter 2’, which landed in fourth with $5.9 million. That one at least has the advantage of only costing $8.5 million to make.
Fifth was ‘Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle’, which topped the box office last weekend, and fell, but is still earning money. It made $4.8 million, and is currently sitting at $115.9 million domestically.
Coming up next week is awards-buzzed ‘The Smashing Machine’ starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, but ‘One Battle’ faces no real challenge to its premium screen formats until ‘Tron: Ares’ lands on October 10th and starts gobbling up IMAX locations.

Acclaimed director Paul Thomas Anderson returns to theaters with another modern masterpiece and one of the best films of his impressive career. Loosely based on the novel ‘Vineland’ by Thomas Pynchon, ‘One Battle After Another’ is an incredibly timely, frantic farce that delivers action, humor, and heart.
Leonardo Di Caprio gives a powerhouse performance leading a fantastic cast that also includes Sean Penn in an Oscar worthy supporting role. Benicio del Toro is fantastically funny in his small role, but it is young actress Chase Infiniti that shines along with Di Caprio.

The film begins by introducing us to Pat (Leonardo Di Caprio), who is an explosives expert and a member of a group of revolutionaries rebelling against the government and their barbaric immigration policies. The group is led by the charismatic Perfidia Beverly Hills (Teyana Taylor) who is also in a relationship with Pat. She soon crosses paths with Col. Steven J. Lockjaw (Sean Penn) and after she makes a fool of him publicly, he becomes obsessed with her.
Eventually, Perfidia becomes pregnant and after having the baby is captured by Lockjaw, who sends soldiers after the other members. Pat takes the baby, and they go underground living under new identities, careful not to draw Lockjaw’s attention. Sixteen years later, Pat is now Bob Ferguson, an alcoholic pothead raising his daughter Willa by himself, with Perfidia’s whereabouts unknown. They live in a small town where Willa studies martial arts from a local Sensei named Sergio (Benicio del Toro).
Lockjaw is now high up in the government and to join an exclusive and elite club he must kidnap Willa to discover the truth behind a secret that her mother was hiding. Now, with the help of an ex-revolutionary named Deandra (Regina Hall) and Sensei Sergio, Bob must escape from Lockjaw’s men and rescue Willa before it’s too late.

While I love ‘Boogie Nights’ and think ‘There Will Be Blood’ is one of the greatest American movies ever made, I have to say that ‘Inherent Vice’ is probably my favorite Paul Thomas Anderson movie. That film was also based on a novel by author Thomas Pynchon, which is probably why the two films are similar in tone and offbeat humor. But Anderson wisely updated the 60’s to 80’s setting of the book to modern day. While our current President’s name is never invoked, it’s obvious that Anderson is using the movie to comment on the current administration’s war on immigration.
In fact, this is by far the most political film Anderson has ever made, but it also has more action sequences than his previous movies. The director finds humor in the most absurd situations, but never loses the message or heart of the movie. Anderson is the last of a dying breed of filmmakers who make unique, crowd-pleasing epics every time out, and this film is no exception. The movie also boasts an impressive score from Jonny Greenwood and gorgeous cinematography from Michael Bauman and Anderson.

Leonardo Di Caprio is possibly the last true movie star, having never made a superhero film or even a sequel, he is still an actor that puts butts in seats regardless of the movie’s content. Think about it, this guy got us to go see his bear (‘The Revenant’) movie!
Some of Di Caprio’s best work in recent years has been in ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ and ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’, and he’s just as good if not better here. There are some similarities between Rick Dalton and Bob Ferguson, but Di Caprio creates a new, awkward, burnout character for us to root for. He’s not a hero, but you do want him to win and his relentless need to find his daughter drives the movie.

Sean Penn gives one of his best performances in recent years and is probably a frontrunner for a Best Supporting Oscar nomination at this point. It’s funny to think of the public Sean Penn we all know, a liberal revolutionary in his own right, playing this completely conservative military character. His performance is specific and fits perfectly with Anderson’s tone.
Bencio del Toro gives a gentle and funny performance as Willa’s Sensei Sergio, who helps Bob along the way. He has great chemistry with Di Caprio and shines in all his scenes. Teyana Taylor makes quite an impression as Perfidia Beverly Hills and gives an explosive performance. Unfortunately, her role is limited due to the story, but she lights up the screen regardless.

And in her first film, Chase Infinity is a revelation. The actress gives a subtle yet strong performance as Perfidia’s daughter and has great chemistry with Di Caprio. She holds her own in her scenes with Penn and is quite a force on screen.

I think it’s safe to say that ‘One Battle After Another’ should be a frontrunner for Best Picture and Best Director nominations at this year’s Academy Awards. I would imagine Best Original Screenplay for Anderson and Best Actor for Di Caprio are also in the mix, as well as a Best Supporting nom for Penn. I would also encourage voters to consider Greenwood’s work for Best Score, as well as Infiniti for Best Supporting Actress.

Filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson has delivered a movie that is as funny, exciting and exhilarating as it is timely and culturally important. With brilliant performances from the entire cast but especially Di Caprio, Penn, del Toro and Infiniti, ‘One Battle After Another’ is a must see and one of the best films of the year.

The movie will be out in June next year.
While the new instalment of the ‘Scary Movie’ franchise has been in the works for a while now, we only learned later last year that the Wayans brothers –– who were a key part of the creative team as well as appearing in the movies.
We wondered at the time whether the likes of fellow franchise stalwarts Anna Faris (who played Cindy Campbell in a variety of the films) and Regina Hall (Brenda) will both also be back for this new one. Deadline has now confirmed that they will.

Marlon Wayans and Faris also teased the duo’s return via Instagram:
There are no details of what the new movie will be about but given that the original two films were primarily spoofs of ‘Scream,’ ‘The Exorcist’ and other horror classics, we’d expect some combination of riffs on the current crop of movies and tropes.
The script this time comes from the brothers and Rick Alvarez, who is a regular Wayans contributor, having written the likes of ‘Fifty Shades of Black,’ ‘Sextuplets’ and ‘Naked.’
And Michael Tiddes, a fellow Wayans veteran, is in the director’s chair.

This is what Hall and Faris had to say about their return:
“We can’t wait to bring Brenda and Cindy back to life and be reunited with our great friends Keenen, Shawn and Marlon — three men we’d literally die for (in Brenda’s case, again).”
Here’s what the brothers told Deadline about their comeback:
“We couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the new ‘Scary Movie’ and work with each other again. This is a franchise we created more than 20 years ago. We remember people laughing in the aisles and hope to see that happen again. We look forward to working with Jonathan Glickman and his team at the new Miramax to bring these laughs to theaters, where they belong. It’s a double reunion.”
When will the new ‘Scary Movie’ entry be in theaters?
Paramount has scheduled the movie for a June 12th, 2026 release date, and with cameras set to roll this October, it’ll be ready to make us laugh again next summer.

Exactly what they’ll be doing on the movie this time isn’t yet clear –– Keenen Ivory Wayans wrote and directed the first two films, while Marlon and Shawn wrote and starred them.

The timing is perfect to bring back the series to the big screen and we’re lucky to have Keenen, Marlon and Shawn’s unique comedic vision bringing it to audiences around the world.”

Will Anna Faris return too?

Anna Faris played Cindy Campbell in the first four ‘Scary Movie’ entries, so there’s a chance she might come back.
In July this year, she told People what she would want to return to the franchise:
“I would love to work with Regina (Hall) again. I just love her so much. We would make each other giggle all day long. Regina Hall would be my answer. And money. But mostly all Regina!”
The cameras will reportedly roll on this one next year. Paramount and Miramax are both behind the new movie but have yet to announce release date. There’s a chance it could be ready for release in late 2025, but that remains to be seen.

It appears he’s been taking his time to develop a new movie and is in the process of casting it. As you might expect for the filmmaker, he’s been able to attract some big names, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn and Regina Hall.

What’s the story of Paul Thomas Anderson’s latest movie?
‘Licorice Pizza’ director Paul Thomas Anderson
That’s the big mystery about the movie for now –– Anderson hasn’t publicly released the logline for his latest.
All that Deadline was able to discover was that it has a contemporary setting, and that this represents PTA in big, commercial mode.
DiCaprio, Penn and Hall will be the leads in the film, but this one is planned for a large ensemble, suggesting something on the scale of, say, ‘Magnolia’, which also had big stars in its cast.
Director Paul Thomas Anderson on the set of ‘Licorice Pizza’
Warner Bros. has made a deal with the filmmaker thanks to Picture Group co-chairs/CEOs Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy, who worked with Anderson on ‘Licorice Pizza’ when they were at MGM. That resulted in three Oscar nominations, so you can understand why the director might want to work with them again, and especially with the big machine of a studio like Warners to help promote the movie.
It’s also a win for the studio, which was able to secure DiCaprio’s services at a time when he’s in the middle of awards season for his role in ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’.
Penn, meanwhile, has a couple of new movies due this year with ‘Daddio’ and ‘Gonzo Girl’, while this also marks a reunion with Anderson after his small, yet memorable role in ‘Pizza’.
And Hall (who produced ‘Gonzo Girl’) is shooting musical drama ‘O’Dessa’, while also being part of upcoming comedy series ‘Q Talks’, in which actors will give talks on expert subjects they’ve never studied and scripts they’re seeing for the first time.
When will the movie be in theaters?
The new film has yet to confirm a release date.

Though it would seem to have wrapped up its story –– especially since it is based on a novel –– with its first season, Hulu’s ‘Nine Perfect Strangers’ is preparing a second.
It would seem that the streaming service is ready to go the ‘White Lotus’ route and turn the concept into an anthology, with star Nicole Kidman the sole name (so far) from Season 1 set to return.
What was the story of ‘Nine Perfect Strangers’ first season?
(L to R) Luke Evans, Melvin Gregg, Michael Shannon, Manny Jacinto, and Bobby Cannavale star in Hulu’s ‘Nine Perfect Strangers.’ Photo: Vince Valitutti/Hulu.
Debuting in September 2021 as Hulu’s most-watched Hulu original ever — drama, comedy, limited series or unscripted –– the show saw nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living with a 10-day star at a boutique California wellness resort run by director Masha (Kidman), a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. However, these nine “perfect” strangers have no idea what is about to hit them…
It remains to be seen whether the idea can work a second time, since audiences, even those who have not read the book, will know what to expect. Still, viewers embraced the second run of HBO’s ‘Big Little Lies’ adaptation (which also starred Kidman) despite that show’s first season being planned as a limited series.
It’s an increasing phenomenon for companies on the hunt for successful titles that can attract audiences to convert what are originally announced as one-shots into continuing series. HBO in particular has drawn dividends with ‘The White Lotus’ which went from one season made in the midst of the pandemic to an ongoing anthology series that carries over one or two actors each time. That show, created by Mike White, has earned plenty of awards acclaim and seen big viewership.
Moriarty, meanwhile, has become a go-to author for companies looking for source material. Her book ‘Apples Never Fall’ is in development and several others have been optioned.
The movie stars Kevin Hart (‘DC League of Super Pets’) as Sonny, a stay-at-home dad who finds himself with some “me time” for the first time in years while his wife (Regina Hall) and kids are away.
He soon reconnects with his former best friend Huck (‘Father Stu’s Mark Wahlberg) for a wild weekend that nearly upends his life.
Moviefone recently had the pleasure of speaking to writer/director John Hamburg about his work on ‘Me Time,’ making a “bromance,” working with Hart and Wahlberg, Seal’s concert for the crew, working with a mountain lion, and the possibility of a sequel.
‘Me Time’ writer and director John Hamburg.
Moviefone: To begin with, how did you come up with the idea for this movie?
John Hamburg: One of our executive producers was telling me that he was alone without his family for the first time in a while. It’s a moment as simple as that that gets my mind going and thinking, “Oh, maybe that’s the premise for something.”
Then I put that idea aside for a few years, and then was playing around with this Huck character, Mark Wahlberg’s character, in a different story entirely. Suddenly I was like, “Oh, well maybe I can marry the early idea of someone who’s alone without their family, but reconnects with this Huck character,” and the rest of the story grew from there.
MF: How often does that happen that you’ll take something that is not working in one project, and apply it to another project?
JH: It does happen because it’s all part of a world of comedy, awkwardness and characters that I traffic in, so it definitely does. Sometimes I’ll hear a story and years later, put that into a project. Or I’ll put a project aside because I can’t quite crack it or it’s not quite working, but I’ll take elements of that and put it into something that does come to fruition.
MF: The movie is very much a “bromantic comedy,” can you talk about the deep friendship between Sonny and Huck?
JH: I’ve worked in the bromance space before, and I guess it’s one of my themes. They say filmmakers, sometimes you just make the same movie over and over again. They just look a little different. But I just wanted to tap into the idea that when you make different choices in life, it can pull people apart and really, you’re not as far apart as you think you are. How does this friendship that has been put through the test come back together?
Because I had experienced it in my own life, making choices to start a family and settle down in a way, and I had other family members and friends who have made an entirely different choice. Often, I’d think, “Oh, they’re doing something crazy right now, and I’m a little jealous.” But they might be like, “I’m jealous that John just gets to hang out at home and watch TV with his family.” So, it’s interesting. I was trying to tap into those dynamics in writing this relationship between Sonny and Huck.
MF: Can you talk about working with Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg, and their chemistry on and off screen?
JH: Kevin and I had worked with each other before, but never when he was the global movie star that he is now. I worked a bit on the script of his movie ‘Night School,’ but I wasn’t the director. Kevin is the funniest human on the planet and also just a great person. He’s fun to work with, brings so much energy, and has so much creativity.
Then Mark, I hadn’t known. We hadn’t worked together, so I didn’t know what he’d be like. He is, first of all, incredibly professional. He truly takes the craft of acting seriously. He knows the script cold, knows things that I’d cut from previous drafts and would bring them back in, and also just sneakily very funny. That combination is lethal. Then the two of them just got along incredibly well, which made my job as a director much easier.
MF: Can you also talk about Sonny and Maya’s marriage and how Sonny’s own insecurities really put his marriage and his family at risk?
JH: I was trying to write about a modern relationship. I observed so many of these where the wife was the breadwinner and had a big career, and the husband chose to stay at home, or maybe sometimes didn’t choose. Maybe it was like, “My wife is killing it, and someone’s got to take care of the kids.” So, I was aiming to write about that.
Then, I had seen some men in my life who made that choice and were completely at peace with it, but that wouldn’t give me a comedy. I’d seen other people who made that choice, but clearly were a little bit insecure and not quite sure. They’re falling into old-school gender dynamics, and I was trying to approach that.
Insecurity, to me, is one of the through lines in all of my comedies. A character who’s insecure is going to make a lot of bad choices. Thus, Kevin’s character is insecure, and he overcompensates. He does so many stupid things that come from that one thing, which is if he could just take a breath, relax and know he’s doing fine, everything would be fine. But of course, we wouldn’t have the movie ‘Me Time’ in that case.
JH: So, I am a big Seal fan. I mean, he’s a great musician, and he has one of the great voices of all time. Kevin’s character was a singer-songwriter named Dr. Silk, and so it was like, “Who would this character have revered when he was coming up? Seal. That makes sense.”
Seal is so iconic, and so larger than life. I mean physically he’s a very tall, extremely handsome man. So, Kevin’s character would love this guy and he would be one of his idols. Then also, it would be really fun to have Seal, this larger-than-life figure, in Kevin’s suburban backyard. That was the combination.
Thankfully, we had a great conversation over the phone when he was on tour in England. I talked him through it, and he was down, and he was awesome. He was so great on the set. He was funny, and fun. When he was doing that concert, all the actors were just in awe. He stayed, and he did an acapella version of “Crazy” after the cameras stopped rolling just to entertain the crowd. It was one of my great days filming in my career.
MF: In the film, Sonny and Huck go on several adventures including skydiving and fighting a mountain lion. What was the most challenging sequence to shoot?
JH: Good question. The mountain lion was the most challenging because you have some real animals who don’t cooperate that well usually. You have a really hot, dusty location. A lot of it was CGI, and I hadn’t had a ton of experience doing this kind of sequence. So, I’m smart enough to know what I don’t know.
I relied on experts to tell me, “I know Kevin is wrestling with a blue stuffed animal. But this is going to look real. Trust us.” You have to have faith, put all these components together and hope that at the end it’s going to look seamless to the audience, and all they’ll see is Kevin Hart running from a mountain lion.
MF: Finally, can you see possibly revisiting these characters in the future and exploring their relationship further in a sequel?
JH: I do have a couple of ideas. They were so much fun to work with, and I do love the dynamics of this cast and these characters. There’s a couple of ideas percolating. You got to be careful with spinoff sequels. You have a reason to tell the story. But I do have a couple of thoughts that feel organic to the next choices these characters would make.
2009’s crime thriller ‘Law Abiding Citizen’ clearly has its fans. And among them? Star Gerard Butler, who appears ready to bring more of the story to screens. But the twist is, he probably won’t be in front of the cameras this time.
Should you need your memory refreshed, here’s the basics for the movie: it
starred Butler and Jamie Foxx and was directed by F. Gary Gray. The story follows assistant district attorney Nick Rice’s (Foxx) pursuit of Clyde Shelton (Butler), a frustrated father who implements an elaborate and twisted plan to bring down the entire judicial system in Philadelphia after a plea bargain by Rice sets free the man who murdered Shelton’s wife and daughter.
Part of the reason for the sequel being thrown into more active development? The fact that the original landed on Netflix last December, and quickly became one of the most popular movies on the service, along with ‘Red Notice’ and ‘The Unforgivable’.
Story details for the new movie are under wraps for now, but while Butler is certainly one of the producers, he’s yet to make a deal to return as an actor for the new movie – which is not all that surprising since (spoiler alert) his character dies at the end of the first “Citizen”. It appears more likely that it could continue the story of Foxx’s Rice, the crusading ADA whose life was impacted by his and Shelton’s actions. Or it’ll be a completely fresh tale.
Jamie Foxx and Brice McGill in 2009’s ‘Law Abiding Citizen.’
What we do know is that writer/producer Kurt Wimmer will be back alongside fellow producer Lucas Foster. Rivulet Films’ Rob Paris and Mike Witherill are producing alongside Foster and Wimmer, plus Village Roadshow Pictures’ Tristen Tuckfield and Jillian Apfelbaum, who will be executive producers.
As for who could direct the movie? It’s far too early for that sort of talk, though the team could tempt Gray to return. And if he doesn’t, Wimmer also has directorial experience.
As a writer, Wimmer most recently created original screenplay ‘The Beekeeper’ which is being turned into a new action thriller for David Ayer to direct and Jason Statham set to star.
“I am delighted to partner with Rob, Mike, and Village Roadshow Pictures, together with my frequent creative partner Kurt Wimmer, to revisit these great characters and this compelling topic which seems even more relevant today than when we made the original film,” says Foster. “We’re going to blow your mind… again.”
The business of Gerard Butler sequels is a busy one of late – he’s back for a ‘Den of Thieves’ follow-up and ‘Greenland: Migration’ is in pre-production, while a forth ‘Olympus has Fallen’ follow-up, ‘Night has Fallen’ sits at the pitch stage.

Award season 2022 has officially come to an end with the conclusion of the 94th Academy Awards. The Oscars have been handed out, and we are going to breakdown all the winners and shocking moments of the night.
It began with Tennis legends Venus and Serena Williams introducing a performance of the Oscar nominated song “Be Alive” from ‘King Richard,’ performed by Beyonce on the Compton tennis courts where the Williams sisters grew up.
After the performance, hosts Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes and Regina Hall took the stage to begin the show with a seemingly impromptu introduction by DJ Khaled. The three performers gave a short group monologue before Schumer gave a hilarious solo stand-up routine making fun of the stars in the audience.

However, the most awkward moment of the night came when Chris Rock was introducing Best Documentary Feature. The comedian did a few minutes of stand up, roasting the crowd. But when he poked fun at actress Jada Pinkett Smith’s career, her husband Will Smith stormed the stage and punched Rock in the face!
The Oscar nominated actor clearly wasn’t amused by the comedian’s joke, and about 30 seconds of an angry shouting match between the two performers was aired without audio. When the audio resumed, a startled Rock concluded by saying, “That was the greatest night in the history of television.’

In the artisan categories, ‘Dune’ was the big winner taking home Best Film Editing, Production Design, Sound, and Cinematography.
In the major award categories there were no real surprises at all. Ariana DeBose won Best Supporting Actress for her role in ‘West Side Story,’ and Troy Kotsur won Best Supporting Actor for his performance in ‘CODA.’ As predicted, Jane Campion won Best Director for her work on ‘The Power of the Dog.’

After his confrontation with Rock, Will Smith won (as expected) the Best Actor Oscar for his performance in ‘King Richard.’ In his tearful speech, Smith talked about protecting his family and apologized to the Academy, likely for his interaction with Rock. He also joked that life imitates art, implying that his behavior earlier in the evening mirrors the character he just received an award for portraying.
The ceremony ended with Oscar winners Lady Gaga and Liza Minnelli presenting Best Picture to ‘CODA,’ which in a tight race pulled out the win over ‘The Power of the Dog.’
