WILL & GRACE -- "FYI: I Hurt Too" Episode 1 -- Pictured: (l-r) Jennifer Lopez as Herself, Sean Hayes as Jack McFarland, Megan Mullally as Karen Walker -- Photo by: Chris Haston/NBCU Photo BankShe’s still Jenny From the Block, but also her “Shades of Blue” character.

“Will & Grace” back in 2004, each time playing herself. She invited Jack to be her backup dancer on her tour and sang at Karen and Lyle’s wedding. (She also made people use her signature fragrance, Glow.)

JLo will return to the revived “Will & Grace” later this season in a special two-part guest role. She’ll play herself, again, but also NYPD detective Harlee Santos, her character on her NBC show “Shades of Blue.” So instead of prommoting Glow, now she’s promoting “Shades of Blue.” She’s always hustlin’!

“Shades of Blue” will return for a third season on NBC, but there’s no premiere date yet.

  • Jennifer Lopez Asks ‘Help Rebuild Puerto Rico’ In Emotional Video

Jennifer LopezJennifer Lopez shared an emotional video to Instagram last night, asking for people’s help in rebuilding Puerto Rico after the devastation of Hurricane Maria.

  • Jennifer Lopez on NBC ‘American Idol’ Reboot: ‘I Haven’t Heard Anything’

2017 NBCUniversal Summer Press Day - Panels“American Idol” said farewell just under a year ago, but talk of a reboot has already been swirling.

With NBC reportedly interested in continuing the reality singing competition show now that Fox has retired it, former “Idol” judge “World of Dance,” but the “American Idol” curiosity still popped up.

Unfortunately, when Lopez was asked if executive producing and judging NBC’s “World of Dance” would keep her from returning as an “Idol” judge, she didn’t have much information to share.

“I haven’t heard anything about that,” she said, according to Deadline. “I know nothing about that.”

It’s not exactly a promising answer, but it isn’t necessarily bad news for fans of the long-running singing series, either. NBC may be working on the reboot — with Lopez even — but just not ready to let the cat out of the bag. Don’t count an NBC “American Idol” reboot out yet.

  • The Awful Truth About ‘The Wedding Planner’: Podcast

The Wedding Planner (2001) podcastOh, “The Wedding Planner.” In theory, you’re a wonderful piece of J.Lo rom-com nostalgia. In fact, however, you’re far more terrible than anyone could have ever remembered.

If you haven’t guessed by now, this week, Tim Hayne, Tony Maccio, Phil Pirrello, and Rachel Horner sink their teeth into Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey‘s 2001 romantic comedy hit, “The Wedding Planner,” and gnaw it to its misguided, nonsensical, terrible-Italian-accented bone. For the record, they really wanted to like this movie — you could say they planned to like it — Rachel and Tim, especially. Alas, much like 50 percent of marriages in America, this movie was doomed from the start.Tyra Banks AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL rooting for youAre there redeeming qualities? Sure, but they’re few and far between. Judy Greer, for instance, and Kathy Najimy‘s “boss” wig — but you’ll have to listen to the podcast for the rest.

Next week’s movie is a Tony Maccio pick: 1989’s “Road House,” starring Patrick Swayze, Kelly Lynch, and a giant can of whoopass.

  • How Leonardo DiCaprio Reacted to Jennifer Lopez’s Carpool Karaoke Text

JAPAN-FILM-ENTERTAINMENT-US-DICAPRIOBaby aka Leonardo DiCaprio and Boo Boo aka Jennifer Lopez are still best buds.

Earlier this week, on his last night show, James Corden sent a prank text to Leonardo DiCaprio from Jennifer Lopez’s phone during a “Carpool Karaoke” segment, and the actress/singer revealed how the Oscar winner reacted.

“I did have to explain it to him,” she told reporters after an “American Idol” taping. “He was a great sport about it … I was like, ‘So hey, this is what had happened! I was with James Corden.’”

Corden had written: “Hey, baby, I’m kind of feeling like I need to cut loose. Any suggestions? Let me know. J. Lo (you know, from the block).” DiCaprio eventually responded with his own text: “You mean tonight, Boo Boo, club-wise?”

Corden and Lopez laughed hysterically about the exchange, and it seems DiCaprio is laughing off the prank, too.

“He’s great. He’s a friend and it was nice. He was totally like, ‘Do whatever you want, I don’t care.’ I don’t know if he’d say that today!”

  • Leonardo DiCaprio Got Pranked by James Corden and JLo, and It’s Hilarious

“The Late Late Show” host James Corden’s new “Carpool Karaoke” segment with JLo. The host and his guest basically pranked Leo during the segment, with James sending the Oscar winner a ridiculous fake text from JLo’s phone, then the pair poked fun at Leo’s serious(ly hilarious) response.

The entire 13-minute video is a fun watch, including Jennifer’s insistence that she did not insure her butt for a million dollars, ’cause that’s not even a thing in this country. But the best part is when she breaks out her phone and James asks her to name the most famous person in there. That happens around the 9:50 mark, where she notes she’s friends with Demi Lovato, Chris Brown, Bradley Cooper, Cristiano Ronaldo, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Fergie, etc.

James declared it “the best phone I’ve ever seen in my life.” He asked if he could text one person, and decided it should be Leonardo DiCaprio.

Ultimately, this is what he texted to Leo: “Hey, baby, I’m kind of feeling like I need to cut loose. Any suggestions? Let me know. J. Lo (you know, from the block).”

Is that not the dumbest text ever? Jennifer was embarrassed, saying, “I’m going to have to explain this” to Leo. But apparently not!

Later on, Leo wrote back: “You mean tonight, Boo Boo, club-wise?”

Tonight, Boo Boo, club-wise! Both James and Jennifer got a kick out of that. “Here’s the funny part, that he actually thinks I’m serious,” Jennifer said, laughing at the idea that Leo believed she would even write that and add “J.Lo.” James told the “American Idol” judge it sounded like she was going out that night, but JLo said she was just going to go home and cook with her kids. Boo Boo’s club nights are over.

    Watch it all:

For all we know, the reply wasn’t even from Leo. Maybe Conan O’Brien borrowed his phone for his own joke text.

And if you still want more hilarious Leo in your life, checking out the new Honest Trailer for “The Revenant”:

  • Ben Affleck Finally Sets the Record Straight on That Back Tattoo

An Alternative View Of The "Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice" New York PremiereAfter both of his Jen exes — wife Jennifer Garner and Bennifer-mate Jennifer Lopez — joined the rest of the planet in mocking his phoenix back tattoo, Ben Affleck finally rose from the ashes of silence to explain the dang thing.

As you probably figured the second you first saw it, it’s “fake for a movie.”

That’s what he confirmed to Mario Lopez’s ExtraTV during an interview for “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” Mario then said Ben probably wasn’t at liberty to say anything further, and Ben began to say something about not wanting to, but added, “I actually do have a number of tattoos…but I try to have them in places where you don’t have to do a lot of cover up…they get sort of addictive, tattoos, after a while.”

There’s a whole tattoo discussion, which you can watch in the Extra talk with Ben and Henry Cavill:

It’s kind of a tense, or maybe just tired, chat. But here’s a question: Why didn’t Jennifer Garner know that the back tattoo was fake for a movie, if they are still close, raising their kids together and all that? And why is Ben just now confirming it’s fake, only thanks to Extra, when we first saw that thing back on his film set in December — when TMZ and Us Weekly claimed it was real, and he’d had it since July?

You could tell Ben didn’t even want to delve into the subject, even though it’s been a source of mockery from his exes, who both apparently thought it was real (or pretended to, anyway). Is someone not being entirely truthful here? David Fincher needs to get the rights to this mystery and make a thriller about it — “The Gone Man With the Phoenix Tattoo.”

  • Jennifer Lopez Also Hates Ben Affleck’s Back Tattoo: ‘It’s Awful’

Arrest Warrant Issued For Ben Affleck After Alleged ThreatsJennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner both have the dubious distinction of being Ben Affleck‘s exes. Now, Lopez has revealed that she and Garner also share a mutual dislike for their former flame’s highly-publicized (and much-maligned) phoenix tattoo, and the singer-actress didn’t mince any words when discussing the ink in a new interview.

Lopez stopped by “Watch What Happens Live” this week and answered a series of silly questions posed by host Andy Cohen during the show’s “Plead the Fifth” segment. But easily the best query centered around Affleck’s giant back tattoo, of which Cohen asked Lopez her honest opinion.

“It’s awful!” the actress exclaimed when shown the now-infamous paparazzi shot of the garish ink, adding with a laugh, “What are you doing?!”

“I mean, I would tell him that,” Lopez continued. “I would tell him, ‘What are you doing?’ It has too many colors. His tattoos always have too many colors. They shouldn’t be so colorful. You know what I mean? They should be cooler.”

Affleck’s soon-to-be-ex-wife Garner also agrees with that assessment, though she was a bit more diplomatic in her choice of words on the subject. When asked about the phoenix imagery, Garner told Vanity Fair that she didn’t think the supposed symbolism was apt.

“You know what we would say in my hometown about that? ‘Bless his heart,’” Garner told the magazine. “A phoenix rising from the ashes. Am I the ashes in this scenario? I take umbrage. I refuse to be the ashes.”
