“The Punisher” isn’t necessarily what you’d expect from a show about a Marvel anti-hero notorious for being a mass-murderer. It’s a surprisingly thoughtful look at the trauma fueling Frank Castle. Perhaps it could use a few more gunfights to keep the excitement level up, but this is by far the most compelling version of Frank we’ve seen in live-action.
