"Hannah Montana" was a monster, even by Disney Channel standards. Not only did they have a hit television show (that even grown adults enjoyed), but they had a pop star in Miley Cyrus who would go on tour as Miley and Hannah Montana. Don’t even get us started on the merchandise.
They’ve tried to duplicate the success with other Disney stars, but this was lightning in a bottle.
