While "Captain America: The First Avenger" is one of the stronger films in Phase One of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s got nothing on its sequel.
"The Winter Soldier" gave us a gripping spy thriller disguised as a superhero movie and one of the MCU’s better villains to date. It also paved the way for so much of what’s happened in this universe since, both on the big screen and TV.
