It was "Gravity" director Alfonso Cuaron who co-created this drama, along with Mark Friedman. Still, the Abrams formula was starting to look pretty stale by the time Abrams co-produced this drama, about a young girl with extraordinary powers and the shadowy organizations of both good and evil fighting over her. Veteran character actor Delroy Lindo lent this show some much-needed gravitas, but it wasn’t enough to keep this NBC show going beyond its first season.
