Executive producer and co-creator Abrams apparently wanted "Undercovers" to be a fun, sexy caper about a married spy couple, somewhere between "Hart to Hart" and "Mr. & Mrs. Smith." Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Boris Kodjoe certainly brought the sexy, but it wasn’t much fun. NBC scrapped it after 13 episodes.
