In this misfire, (created by Eric Kripke and co-produced by Abrams), the drama centers on survivalism in a post-apocaylpic, electricity-scarce America that has descended into warlord-run fiefdoms. As in many Abrams shows, there’s too much tangled plotting and mythology to master, but the show — which ran for two seasons on NBC — had its bluntly effective moments. But too few characters worth caring about.
