The only Christmas episode of the series decided to keep the funny on the backburner and focus on the drama. The First — who we meet again in season 7 — attempts to use Angel to kill Buffy. Obviously it doesn’t work, but it leads to Angel making amends (hence the title) for all the wrong he’s done. Also, snow in Sunnydale? We know it sits on a Hellmouth, but come on.
