1. ‘The Emperor’s New Groove’ (2000)

Groove” might be better remembered for its tumultuous behind-the-scenes troubles than the finished product. The film began life as an ambitious musical epic set in the Incan Empire, featuring several new songs by Sting, before eventually morphing into a low-key, largely non-musical buddy comedy. It’s hard not to mourn what might have been, but the film proves to be an entertaining, funny romp featuring an inspired voice cast headlined by David Spade and John Goodman
