Pierce Brosnan’s tenure as James Bond began with one of the franchise’s most elegant stunts, a 750-foot bungee jump off a Swiss dam. Stuntman Wayne Michaels executed the leap from an extended platform, so that he’d have less of a chance of smashing into the dam. He pulled the piton gun just in time, before disappearing out of frame.
