Robert Rodriguez‘ gun-happy remake (ish) of his breakout film, "El Mariachi," is a full-on guilty pleasure — powered by a "bigger is better" mentality when it comes to the action scenes. "Desperado" turned Antonio Banderas into one of the ’90s many "big things" and made Salma Hayek a name that 15 year olds would never forget, thanks to her sex scene.
