  • ‘Game of Thrones’ Casts Actress as Young Cersei Lannister

It’s been confirmed that flashbacks will be a feature of the upcoming fifth season of “Game of Thrones,” and now, we know just who will be playing a younger version of one of the main characters.

Fan site Watchers on the Wall reports that actress Nell Williams will play a young Cersei Lannister, which was confirmed on the star’s agency page. According to Watchers, the flashback in which Williams will play Cersei may be part of a dream, and will most likely feature an older woman character called Maggy the Frog.

There’s been no official word yet from HBO about the casting, so stay tuned to see if the network has anything to add about Williams’s addition to the cast.

The fifth season of “Game of Thrones” will premiere on HBO sometime this spring.

  • Mindy Kaling On What’s In Store for ‘The Mindy Project’ (EXCLUSIVE)

We’ve waited patiently through the cold, Mindy Lahiri-less holidays, and now we’re pleased to say that “The Mindy Project” finally returns to our TV sets tonight. When we last left our favorite on-screen OB-GYN she had just been accepted to a competitive medical fellowship at Stanford. So, what happens now? We got the chance to speak with Mindy Kaling via email about what this means for Danny and Mindy and what else we can expect as Season 3 continues.

Moviefone: The mid-season finale left off with Mindy and Danny in a good place. What can we expect for these two as the season progresses? Any bumps in the road coming their way?

Mindy Kaling: Danny and Mindy will always have a tumultuous relationship, in bad times or good. It’s going to be fun to see how they face the specific challenges we throw at them in the spring.

What will we see when it comes to Mindy’s experience at Stanford? How will she fare in more of a student role?

We loved the idea of Mindy in a college setting. It’s been really funny seeing her flourish and stumble in the role of student.

Mindy has been coupled up for the entirety of the season. How is it different to write for her being in a relationship vs. navigating single life? Do you think she’s changed at all or remained pretty true to herself in this relationship?

The great thing about Mindy and Danny is that they are so different, so together or apart, they are funny. It hasn’t been any different writing for them as a couple.

Adam Pally will be exiting the show this season. Any insight into how you will be handling his departure? And what would you personally want for Dr. Peter Prentice in say, 10 years?

Peter’s leaving was surprisingly emotional, for such a big and outrageous character. He is such a fixture on the show, and identifies Mindy as his best friend. We will definitely be seeing more of him.

Rhea Perlman has been fantastic. Will we see any other big guest stars in the near future?

We have been so lucky with our guest and recurring cast. Lee Pace is on the show next week — I adore him. Lee is so talented and versatile he can disappear into these amazing roles, so I was excited to use him as a good old-fashioned handsome suitor.

And what can we expect when it comes to Morgan’s love life? It’s always great to see him in action romantically.

Ike is so funny we forget that he is also a leading man. I love seeing Morgan in a relationship and we will definitely see more of it.

“The Mindy Project” airs Tuesdays at 9:30 PM on Fox.

  • Matt Damon’s ‘Bourne’ Sequel Gets New Release Date

    bourne identity
Matt Damon‘s return to the “Bourne” series was much-touted and has been long-awaited, but fans of the franchise are going to have to wait a little bit longer before they can see the titular spy back in action.

The still-untitled sequel has been pushed back two weeks from its original release date. The flick was set to debut on July 15, 2016; now, it will premiere on July 29, 2016.

No reason for the change was announced, though Variety suspects the film wants to avoid competition with the third “Star Trek” flick, which is set to debut the weekend before the new “Bourne”‘s original release date. Now, it will also premiere one week ahead of DC’s “Suicide Squad.”

Paul Greengrass is also returning to the “Bourne” series for the hotly-anticipated flick.

  • ‘Jurassic Parks and Recreation’ Is the Chris Pratt Mash-Up You’ve Been Waiting For (VIDEO)

    Jurassic Parks and Recreation
Chris Pratt has transformed himself from the affable Andy Dwyer on “Parks and Recreation” into a bona fide action star, thanks to high-profile turns in “Guardians of the Galaxy” and this summer’s upcoming “Jurassic World.” Now, one enterprising YouTuber has combined those elements into one awesome mash-up trailer.

“Jurassic Parks and Recreation” offers audiences a chance to see Andy Dwyer transferred from Pawnee, Indiana to Isla Nublar, where he works for the recently-opened Jurassic World. Unfortunately for Andy, his laidback approach to life doesn’t really work well when there’s a dangerous hybrid dinosaur on the loose, leading to some awkward moments — and comedy gold.

Check out the mash-up (which uses the “Jurassic World” trailer as a frame in which clips from “Parks and Recreation” are inserted) below, and try not to be too disappointed that the real movie probably won’t feature any of Andy’s hijinks. Could someone send this to director Colin Trevorrow and see if he’d be willing to re-cut the film?

Sit down and enjoy these indies, first films by famous directors and some other great ’90s movies you might have missed.

    1. “Big Night” (1996) R
A great movie (co-directed by stars Stanley Tucci and Campbell Scott) about two Italian brothers in 1950s running an unsuccessful restaurant who go all out when a celebrity’s visit promises to save their business.

    2. “Boys Don’t Cry” (1999) R
Hilary Swank won her first Best Actress Oscar for her searing portrayal of a woman who lives life as a man, until her secret is found out by her redneck friends.

How many times have you seen Alicia Silverstone make over her friends and try to play matchmaker? Not enough!

    5. “Devil in a Blue Dress” (1995) R

    6. “Ever After: A Cinderella Story” (1998) PG-13
With so many Cinderella reboots happening, it’s a great time to revisit this version with Drew Barrymore as the independent heroine who stands up to her evil stepmother, Anjelica Huston

    7. “Fallen Angels” (1995) NR
A good introduction to filmmaker Wong Kar-Wai: It’s also his best-reviewed film. Set in Hong Kong, it features a series of vignettes, one involving a hit man.

    8. “Fargo” (1996) R
Frances McDormand won a Best Actress Oscar for her indelible role as pregnant cop Marge Gunderson, who is on the trail of bizarre crime duo Steve Buscemi and Peter Stormare. You can also stream the Coen Bros. 1991 film “Barton Fink.”

    9. “Glengarry Glen Ross” (1992) R

    13. “The Krays” (1990) R
Spandau Ballet’s Gary Kemp and Martin Kemp star as the murderous real-life British gangster brothers in this stylish crime drama.

Darren Aronofsky’s mind-bending feature film debut, about an obsessed number theorist, is still one of his best.

    16. “Pulp Fiction” (1994) R
Probably our favorite Quentin Tarantino film: The dancing, the hypodermic, the gold watch, the samurai sword, the wallet, that soundtrack… what’s not to love?

    17. “Reservoir Dogs” (1992) R
With his first film — about a heist gone very, very wrong — Tarantino boldly announced he was a force to be reckoned with.

    20. “Shakespeare in Love” (1998) R
Love conquers all, even war, as was the case when this period romance upset “Saving Private Ryan” to win Best Picture at the Oscars.

    21. “Shall We Dance?” (1996) PG
A very funny film in which a married Japanese businessman decides to secretly take dancing lessons. (Skip the U.S. remake, which starred Jennifer Lopez and Richard Gere.)

    22. “The Silence of the Lambs” (1991) R
This bone-chilling thriller rightly earned Oscars for Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter and Jodie Foster as FBI trainee Clarice Starling.

    23. “Slacker” (1991)
Richard Linklater‘s second film is a sprawling, talky ramble across his hometown of Austin, Texas, like overhearing random conversations at your local coffee house or bar.

    24. “Smoke” (1995) R
Co-directed by Wayne Wang and novelist Paul Auster (who also write the screenplay), this film follows multiple characters who hang out at a tobacco shop in Brooklyn. Among the cast: William Hurt, Harvey Keitel, Harold Perrineau, Forest Whitaker, Ashley Judd and Giancarlo Esposito.

    26. “Strictly Ballroom” (1992) PG

    27. “Tarzan” (1999) G
Tarzan meets Jane in this pleasing Disney entry with Oscar-winning songs by Phil Collins.

    28. “Terminator 2: Judgment Day” (1991) R
Sure, it’s always on TV but if you want to watch Terminator vs. Terminator and Linda Hamilton being a badass with no commercials, dial this up on Netflix.

    29. “Trainspotting” (1996) R
Danny Boyle’s hyper-kinetic movie about a bunch of Scottish heroin addicts (including a never-better Ewan McGregor and Jonny Lee Miller) remains one of his best films.

    30. “Wayne’s World” (1992) PG-13
    “Excellent.”

    31. “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape” (1993) PG-13
Johnny Depp takes care of his brother (Oscar-nominated Leonardo DiCaprio) and romances Juliette Lewis and Mary Steenburgen in this ’90s favorite.
