The first teaser for Showtime’s “L Word” sequel series is here.

The preview sets the stage for “The L Word: Generation Q,” a show that has both new and returning cast members. Back are Jennifer Beals (Bette Porter), Kate Moennig (Shane McCutcheon), and Leisha Hailey (Alice Pieszecki), now joined by “a new generation of diverse, self-possessed LGBTQIA characters,” per Showtime. As they usher in the new era of life, love, and heartbreak, they poke fun at how long its been since “The L Word” ended in 2009.

“That hiatus felt really long,” says Alice in the new teaser.  “It felt like a decade, right?”

And things have changed since “The L Word” ended in 2009. A perfect example of this is when one of the new characters, Sarah (Jacqueline Toboni), bikes by a man and he asks for a smile. Instead of complying, she flips him off instead, telling him “Time’s up, b*tch!” Watch below.

“The L Word: Generation Q” premieres Sunday, Dec. 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime.

It’s a “stylish and subversive female empowerment story,” according to Gary Levine, Showtime’s co-president of entertainment. He also highlighted that the series has “clever writing, inventive filmmaking, a strong, diverse ensemble and some alligators.” Watch the teaser below — which, alas, lacks alligators.

Salvation is almost here for “Lucifer” fans.

The comedy-drama’s new home, Netflix, has finally revealed the show’s premiere date and a new teaser. The streamer’s date with the Devil is set for May 8, and it looks like the show may be hotter than ever. The teaser is steamy in multiple sense of the word — it shows star Tom Ellis, who plays Lucifer Morningstar, emerging shirtless from a hot tub. The video then teases, “He is risen.” Watch below.

Season 4 won’t be all hot tub time for Lucifer. The video description offers a look at some of what we can expect to see:

Reeling from the aftermath of Chloe seeing his devil face, Lucifer faces a new challenge: Eve, the original sinner herself, is back. Does she want revenge for when he tempted her out of Eden oh so many years ago… or something else entirely?

The upcoming season was hardly a given. Fox canceled the show in May, but fortunately for fans, Netflix revived “Lucifer” the following month. Considering its brush with death, it may be all the more cherished when the new episodes arrive.

“Lucifer” Season 4 hits Netflix on May 8.

At long last, HBO has given us the first trailer for “Deadwood: The Movie,” complete with the film’s premiere date.

The teaser dropped Thursday, bringing fans back to South Dakota in the late 1880s, ahead of its May 31 debut. The movie picks up 10 years after the original series’ end, but the new trailer will pull you in even if you weren’t already a fan. There is plenty of suspense and a taste of the action, which isn’t surprising considering the synopsis. It says, “Former rivalries are reignited, alliances are tested and old wounds are reopened, as all are left to navigate the inevitable changes that modernity and time have wrought.”

    Watch below.

The movie brings back original stars Ian McShane (Al Swearengen), Timothy Olyphant (Seth Bullock), and Molly Parker (Alma Ellsworth). Other returning cast members include Paula Malcomson, John Hawkes, Anna Gunn, Dayton Callie, Brad Dourif, Robin Weigert, William Sanderson, Kim Dickens, and Gerald McRaney. Paramount Pictures/YouTube

Just days before “Pet Sematary” premieres at the 2019 SXSW Film Festival, Paramount Pictures has released a new teaser. And yes, it’s a creepy one.

The upcoming horror flick is based on Stephen King’s 1983 novel of the same name, and the video shows it aims to be just as scary. Directors Dennis Widmyer and Kevin Kolsch offer commentary in the teaser, and they allude to “the master of horror” and trying to make “a truly terrifying movie.” Based on what we’ve seen so far, they’ll take us on the “wild trip” they promise.

The video has enough film footage to provide a general outline of the plot: Dr. Louis Creed (Jason Clarke) and his family move to a rural town, where he discovers an out-of-the-ordinary burial ground. When tragedy strikes, he makes a decision that has unintended — and horrifying — consequences. Watch below.

The film also stars John Lithgow and Amy Seimetz. “Pet Sematary” hits theaters April 5.
