    While the vast majority of the HBO ‘Harry Potter’ series is brand new casting, the company used the latest “Back to Hogwarts” showcase (a promo event linked to the return of Hogwarts students to the school) to announced that Warwick Davis, who played Professor Filius Flitwick in the movies, will be back for the show.

    On the new casting front, news arrived that another batch of Hogwarts students and faculty have been added, including Elijah Oshin as Dean Thomas, Finn Stephens as Vincent Crabbe, William Nash as Gregory Goyle, Sirine Saba as Professor Pomona Sprout, Richard Durden as Professor Cuthbert Binns, and Bríd Brennan as Madam Poppy Pomfrey.

    From the looks of the new casting, the series aims to replicate a lot about the movies, while also looking to chart its own course.

    There are the big three: Dominic McLaughlin as Harry, alongside co-stars Arabella Stanton (Hermione Granger) and Alastair Stout (Ron Weasley).

    Bel Powley and Daniel Rigby are playing Petunia and Vernon Dursley, AKA Harry’s aunt and uncle, who begrudgingly take the boy in as a baby following the death of his parents at the hands of Voldemort.

    The couple –– who dote on overweight son Dudley (who we now know will be played by Amos Kitson) –– make Harry sleep in a cupboard under the stairs and have no time for the magical world he’ll come to be a key part of.

    Katherine Parkinson, meanwhile, has scored the role of Molly Weasley, the caring, offbeat mother of the Weasley clan, who come to see Harry as a member of the family).

    Bertie Carvel is on board as Cornelius Fudge, the blustering Minister of Magic.

    Lox Pratt will be Draco Malfoy (Harry’s main rival at Hogwarts) and Johnny Flynn is playing Lucius Malfoy, his preening, proud father.

    We also know that Leo Earley will be Seamus Finnigan, Alessia Leoni scored the role of Parvati Patil, and Sienna Moosah is playing Lavender Brown, all three of them students at Hogwarts.

    Previously, we learned that John Lithgow would be Albus Dumbledore, alongside Janet McTeer (Professor Minerva McGonagall), Paapa Essiedu (as Severus Snape) and Nick Frost (bringing gamekeeper Rubeus Hagrid to screens), and they’ll make up part of the series regular cohort alongside the young newcomers.

    Stage actor Luke Thallon (whose main screen credit so far has been a tiny role in 2018’s ‘The Favourite’) and UK comedian and actor Paul Whitehouse (who US audiences might know from ‘The Death of Stalin’ but also has ‘Potter’ form after playing Sir Cadogan in third movie ‘The Prisoner of Azkaban’), as recurring guest stars.

    Thallon has nabbed the role of Professor Quirinus Quirrell, a key part of ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,’ while Whitehouse is set to play Hogwarts caretaker and grumpy cat owner Argus Filch, who pops up throughout the stories.

    With production now under way on the series, HBO has at least confirmed that it will be hitting the streaming service in 2027, though an exact date has yet to be revealed.

    While we have already seen an image of ‘Harry Potter’ TV series star Dominic McLaughlin as Harry alongside his co-stars Arabella Stanton (Hermione Granger) and Alastair Stout (Ron Weasley).

    Now we have the first look at McLaughlin in his Hogwarts robes as the show has now entered production, along with a new set of casting choices.

    Probably the best-known names of the latest ensemble members are Anton Lesser, recently seen in ‘Andor’, who has landed the role of wand shop proprietor Garrick Ollivander, and ‘Such Brave Girls’ Louise Brealey, playing Madam Rolanda Hooch, the Hogwarts flying instructor and Quidditch referee.

    The show will be shot at Warner Bros.’ Leavesden Studios facility outside London in the UK, where the movies were made.

    ‘Potter’ creator and original novelist J.K. Rowling is a big consideration here, since A) she has final say on anything adapted from the books and B) is a problematic figure given her negative views on trans people.

    This was HBO’s recent statement on the issue:

    “Warner Bros. has been working with J.K. Rowling and in the ‘Harry Potter’ business for over 20 years. Her contribution has been invaluable. We are proud to once again tell the story of ‘Harry Potter’ — the heartwarming books that speak to power of friendship, resolve and acceptance. J.K. Rowling has a right to express her personal views. We will remain focused on the development of the new series, which will only benefit from her involvement.”

    Fiennes (yes, him again) weighed in on the issue when talking to The New York Times in 2022:

    “J.K. Rowling has written these great books about empowerment, about young children finding themselves as human beings. It’s about how you become a better, stronger, more morally centered human being. The verbal abuse directed at her is disgusting, it’s appalling. I mean, I can understand a viewpoint that might be angry at what she says about women. But it’s not some obscene, über-right-wing fascist. It’s just a woman saying, ‘I’m a woman and I feel I’m a woman and I want to be able to say that I’m a woman.’ And I understand where she’s coming from. Even though I’m not a woman.”

    HBO CEO Casey Bloys recently said that he expects the show to debut in late 2026 or early 2027, which makes sense given that production isn’t likely to start until later this year.

    There is another chosen one.

    A chosen three, actually, as now we know who will be following in the high-profile footsteps of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint as Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley in the ambitious new HBO series adapted from J.K. Rowling’s novels.

    The new actors are Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton and Alastair Stout.

    Here’s the statement from showrunner Francesca Gardiner and main director Mark Mylod about the new casting choices:

    “After an extraordinary search led by casting directors Lucy Bevan and Emily Brockmann, we are delighted to announce we have found our Harry, Hermione, and Ron. The talent of these three unique actors is wonderful to behold, and we cannot wait for the world to witness their magic together onscreen. We would like to thank all the tens of thousands of children who auditioned. It’s been a real pleasure to discover the plethora of young talent out there.”

    The process to find the Boy Who Lived and his two best friends has gone on for months and months, following a much-publicized open callout published by the show’s casting director Bevan, which asked for children aged between nine and 11 as of April 2025 who were residents of the UK and Ireland.

    The three are mostly newcomers, though McLaughlin has a role in the BBC’s upcoming action adventure series ‘Gifted’ while Stanton played Matilda in ‘Matilda The Musical’ in London’s West End across several months.

    Previously, we learned that John Lithgow would be Albus Dumbledore, alongside Janet McTeer (Professor Minerva McGonagall), Paapa Essiedu (as Severus Snape) and Nick Frost (bringing gamekeeper Rubeus Hagrid to screens), and they’ll make up part of the series regular cohort alongside the young newcomers.

    In addition, Luke Thallon (whose main screen credit so far has been a tiny role in 2018’s ‘The Favourite’) and UK comedian and actor Paul Whitehouse (who US audiences might know from ‘The Death of Stalin’ but also has ‘Potter’ form after playing Sir Cadogan in third movie ‘The Prisoner of Azkaban’) are recurring guest stars.

    Thallon has nabbed the role of Professor Quirinus Quirrell, a key part of ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,’ while Whitehouse is set to play Hogwarts caretaker and grumpy cat owner Argus Filch, who pops up throughout the stories.

    What about the J.K. Rowling issue?

    ‘Potter’ creator and original novelist J.K. Rowling is a big consideration here, since A) she has final say on anything adapted from the books and B) is a problematic figure given her negative views on trans people.

    This was HBO’s recent statement on the issue:

    “Warner Bros. has been working with J.K. Rowling and in the ‘Harry Potter’ business for over 20 years. Her contribution has been invaluable. We are proud to once again tell the story of ‘Harry Potter’ — the heartwarming books that speak to power of friendship, resolve and acceptance. J.K. Rowling has a right to express her personal views. We will remain focused on the development of the new series, which will only benefit from her involvement.”

    Fiennes (yes, him again) weighed in on the issue when talking to The New York Times in 2022:

    “J.K. Rowling has written these great books about empowerment, about young children finding themselves as human beings. It’s about how you become a better, stronger, more morally centered human being. The verbal abuse directed at her is disgusting, it’s appalling. I mean, I can understand a viewpoint that might be angry at what she says about women. But it’s not some obscene, über-right-wing fascist. It’s just a woman saying, ‘I’m a woman and I feel I’m a woman and I want to be able to say that I’m a woman.’ And I understand where she’s coming from. Even though I’m not a woman.”

    When will the ‘Harry Potter’ series be on screens?

    HBO CEO Casey Bloys recently said that he expects the show to debut in late 2026 or early 2027, which makes sense given that production isn’t likely to start until later this year.

    When a company has a property as lucrative and adaptable as the ‘Harry Potter’ novels, you just know it is going to leverage it to the hilt.

    That’s certainly the case with Warner Bros. Discovery (as it is known since the big merger), which has so far pumped out eight main movies, three ‘Fantastic Beasts’ big screen spin-offs, theme parks, websites and more merchandise than you can wave a toy wand at.

    Yet while there remains plenty of interest in ‘Potter’, the likes of the ‘Beasts’ movies haven’t been performing the way the company might prefer, nor are they setting fans’ hearts aflame.

    As Warners keeps looking for more, what of streaming service HBO Max, which would benefit from some Potter-based TV content?

    There have been rumors about development on a TV series since before Warner Bros. and Discovery merged, with The Hollywood Reporter’s sources alerting it to the existence of something in the works back in 2021.

    Back then, there was little information about exactly what it might be. But from the looks of an update on the story via Bloomberg, things are getting closer to reality.

    What could the ‘Harry Potter’ TV series be?

    There are any number of options for a potential ‘Potter show. For a while, there has been talk of adapting successful stage play ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’, though there are fears it could cannibalize ticket sales (though let’s be honest, having ‘Hamilton’ on Disney+ hasn’t quenched audiences’ desire to see it live).

    Assuming Warners were to get author J.K. Rowling’s permission, there’s scope for a brand new story set in the ‘Potter’ universe, following different characters whose fates are not so set in stone (or paper).

    But according to the Bloomberg report, the push appears to be for a new streaming series adaptation of the seven original books. The studio apparently been meeting writers and showrunners to hear concepts for a new take on the novels.

    Conceivably, the show could run for seven or more seasons –– with one book per season (and possibly more, given that the movie series split the final tome, ‘The Deathly Hallows’ into two).

    A series offers plenty of potential to thoroughly re-imagine the stories for a new audience who have grown up on the books and movies since the originals. And with the expanded freedom of streaming series, elements that had to be dropped to avoid mammoth movie running times can be re-instated.

    Is JK Rowling aboard?

    Rowling is a big consideration here, since A) she has final say on anything adapted from the books and B) is a problematic figure given her views on trans people.

    It appears Warners is putting A) ahead of B), in talks with the author to secure her agreement (and have her as creative consultant rather than running the show).

    WBD CEO David Zaslav is hoping to announce something about the show next week, having worked with HBO boss Casey Bloys to convince Rowling to agree (we’re envisioning the flying Ford Anglia from the second book with a trunk full of cash here) so now it’s a waiting game to see if it happens.

    Knock Knock! The Dave Bautista-led psychological thriller ‘Knock At The Cabin’ is coming to Peacock on March 24th.

    Inspired by Paul Tremblay’s ‘The Cabin at the End of the World’, the M. Night Shyamalan reimagined film stars Dave Bautista (‘Guardians of the Galaxy‘), Ben Aldridge (‘Spoiler Alert‘), Jonathan Groff (‘The Matrix Resurrections‘), Nikki Amuka-Bird (‘Old‘), Abby Quinn (‘Torn Hearts’), Rupert Grint (‘Servant‘), and newcomer Kristen Cui.

    The trailer for the film certainly did its job of putting the audience at unease as four strangers stroll up to the remote vacation cabin of Eric (Jonathan Groff), Andrew (Ben Aldridge), and Wen (Kristen Cui), holding them hostage while asking them to make an unthinkable and difficult decision in order to save the world from its end.

    The official synopsis for ‘Knock At The Cabin’ is below:

    “While vacationing at a remote cabin, a young girl and her parents are taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand that the family make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse. With limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost.”

    While The Rotten Tomatoes scores from both critics and audiences sit around 65% (67% from critics and 63% from the audience), the one thing everyone can agree on is the performance by Dave Bautista. The wrestler-turned-actor is known for portraying Drax The Destroyer in Marvel’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and can be seen been many titles such as ‘Spectre’, ‘Army of the Dead’, ‘Dune’, ‘Glass Onion’, and more. Bautista plays Leonard in the film, the leader of the group of strangers who arrives at Eric and Andrew’s remote cabin. Quite opposite from Drax, Leonard’s character is pensive and quiet, and Bautista’s captivating performance is definitely something to watch for in this film.

    Don’t Expect The Usual Shyamalan Twist In This Movie

    Many Shyamalan thrillers have often ended with an unexpected twist that’ll get a huge reaction from audiences, becoming the hot topic in conversations for weeks after the film, such as ‘The Sixth Sense’ or ‘The Village.’ Now, it is almost expected from an M Night Shyamalan title.     Opening in theaters on February 3rd is the new psychological thriller from the “Master of Surprise Endings” M. Night Shyamalan (‘The Sixth Sense,’ ‘Unbreakable’) entitled ‘Knock at the Cabin.’

    To say too much about the plot would give away some of the very satisfying twists and turns, but it basically follows married couple Eric (‘Frozen’s Jonathan Groff) and Andrew (‘Spoiler Alert’s Ben Aldridge), along with their adopted daughter Wen (newcomer Kristen Cui) as they vacation at a remote cabin in the woods.

    Trouble begins when four strangers, Leonard (Dave Bautista), Sabrina (Nikki Amuka-Bird), Adriane (Abby Quinn) and Redmond (Rupert Grint), arrive at the cabin with an extraordinary request for the family … either sacrifice one of your own or everyone on Earth will die.

    The result is a captivating and thoroughly enjoyable psychological thriller that plays off the expectations audiences have when watching a Shyamalan movie and features very good performances from Dave Bautista, Ben Aldridge, and newcomer Kristen Cui.

    While I’ve always enjoyed M. Night Shyamalan as a filmmaker and storyteller, for me his films can be hit or miss. For every ‘Sixth Sense’ or ‘Unbreakable’ there is an ‘After Earth‘ or ‘The Happening.’ ‘Knock at the Cabin’ is in the former category, and I would put it right up there with some of the director’s best movies including ‘Signs’ and ‘The Village.’

    But of course, audiences are aware by now of Shyamalan’s work and the twists, turns, and the surprise endings that he is famous for. However, in ‘Knock at the Cabin,’ Shyamalan plays off of the audiences own expectations, which is the real twist. I spent half of the movie wondering what the twist would be, are the characters all really dead, or is everything just happening in someone’s backyard? But the true twist of the movie is that there is no twist at all! Everything is exactly as it is presented, and that is the real surprise, which is absolutely brilliant!

    Of all the professional wrestlers turned actors, which includes Dwayne Johnson and John Cena, I’ve always thought Dave Bautista was the best actual actor of the bunch, and more concerned with the craft of acting than being a movie star. He’s pushed his range in recent years, from playing physically imposing characters like in ‘Spectre’ or ‘Blade Runner 2049,’ or more humorous roles like in the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ movies or the recent ‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.’ In ‘Knock at the Cabin,’ while still physically imposing, Bautista has an opportunity to show his quieter, more emotional side and is very good in his dramatic scenes.

    Also outstanding in the new film is actor Ben Aldridge, who plays Andrew. I first noticed Aldridge last year in the movie ‘Spoiler Alert,’ where he also gave an excellent performance. The actor does it again here, playing a loving character with some deep anger issues. Andrew is reluctant to believe what the four visitors are selling, and the complexity of his ultimate choice is heartbreaking. I think Aldridge is an actor you will be seeing a lot more of in the future, and could easily start getting the type of high profile roles that actors like Luke Evans or Matthew Rhys are often cast in.

    But the true breakout star of the film is Kristen Cui, who plays Eric and Andrew’s young daughter, Wen. The actress is excellent in the role, and hard to take your eyes off of in her scenes. She is asked to do a lot for a young actress, and absolutely nails the role. She has great chemistry with Aldridge and Groff, but is especially great in her intimidating scenes with Bautista. Shyamalan also wisely uses flashbacks throughout the film to illustrate how Andrew and Eric met, the challenges of their relationship, and how they came to adopt Wen, which helps to flesh out the characters before their ultimate decision.

    Groff does his best as Eric, but the character is not written as deeply as Andrew, and therefore seems one-dimensional at times, however Groff makes his final monologue really resonate. Speaking of one-dimensional characters, that is exactly what Rupert Grint was asked to play as Redmond. There is purposely not much nuance to the character, and Grint is more than satisfactory in his performance as the “evil redneck.”

    Rounding out the four strangers is Nikki Amuka-Bird as Sabrina and Abby Quinn as Adriane. Amuka-Bird gives a very good and relatable performance as the reluctant Sabrina, while Quinn plays her role with a nervous, bubbly energy that adds a lot of humor to the otherwise nail-biting suspense thriller.

    The movie touches on themes of religion, faith, and the environment, but really asks the question: Would you sacrifice your own love to save the world? It’s an interesting question, one that is explored in the movie, and lends itself well to the genre and Shyamalan’s form of filmmaking.

    There are some visual effects in the later part of the movie, that for the most part are used sparingly and really work. However, eagle eye viewers may notice a few shots that look slightly unfinished. It’s so minor, it’s almost not worth mentioning, and the drama of the story and the performances help to mask those moments.

    In the end, it may not be his best film ever, but ‘Knock at the Cabin’ is definitely one of M. Night Shyamalan’s better movies, and a return to form for the visionary writer and director, featuring powerful performances from Bautista, Aldridge and Cui.

    ‘Knock at the Cabin’ receives 8 out of 10 stars.

  • ‘Servant’ Season 4 Interviews: Nell Tiger Free and Toby Kebbell

    Premiering on Apple TV+ beginning January 13th is the fourth and final season of the popular series ‘Servant,’ which is executive produced by acclaimed filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan (‘The Sixth Sense,’ ‘Glass’).

    The series centers on Dorothy (Lauren Ambrose) and Sean Turner (Toby Kebbell), a wealthy Philadelphia couple who recently lost their young son, Jericho. After Dorothy suffers a psychotic break the couple undergoes transitory object therapy and use a lifelike “reborn doll,” which Dorothy comes to believe is her “real child.”

    The couple eventually hires a young nanny named Leanne Grayson (Nell Tiger Free) to take care of the “baby” and it is soon revealed that she has supernatural abilities. Dorothy’s alcoholic brother Julian (Rupert Grint), also becomes aware of Leanne’s powers.

    Moviefone recently had the pleasure of speaking with Nell Tiger Free and Toby Kebbell about their work on ‘Servant’ Season 4, ending the series, what the show has meant to them, and working with M. Night Shyamalan.

    Moviefone: To begin with, now that the series is ending, what has been the defining moment for both of you working on this show?

    Toby Kebbell: I think I don’t get my defining moment really until this finale. I thought I’d had a bunch with the cooking and all the elaborate cookery we did with all the different bizarre creatures, and my wife’s placenta in a croquembouche. But no, I think in season four I’m chasing the truth now. This final season I’m believing in Nell’s hocus-pocus, as Sean sees it.

    With Leanne’s spinning and then that terrible accident happens at the end, so I’m right back to the Sean I used to be. So now, I’m chasing this goal of telling my wife the truth and making sure she listens. It’s actually a really awesome scene. Nell kind of chats to us in a car, and then it’s just me and Lauren and Rupert. It was fantastic. I think that will be it, that will be the defining moment.

    Nell Tiger Free: I think Toby is right. I think that all of us get our big defining moments as we draw this thing to a close. I’ve been lucky that in each season I’ve had kind of a pivot and a turning point, I’ve had an episode that has led me from one thought process to another. I think that the most pivotal moment for me over the four seasons is going to be right up to episode 10, and that’s where my big moment lies. I think that’s the answer.

    MF: Finally, what has it been like for both of you to have an opportunity to work with M. Night Shyamalan on this series?

    NTF: It’s been an experience. He was there at the birth of this and he’s there right at the end. Having his voice, his ideas and his thoughts echo through every choice, everything that we make and everything that we create has been a privilege. He’s a great, respected, well accoladed director for a reason. Because he is a master of the genre and he knows what needs to be done to get the best results. It’s been quite the experience.

    TK: I’ll mirror that. It’s been very intriguing just the way he directs. There was a scene between me and Lauren at dinner, it was just a couple’s dinner. It was a one shot and it was very precise the way he wanted to do it. We did it over and over. I mean, almost to the level of (David) Fincher, the number of takes.

    He really got to the point where he was like, “I guess it’s just, I don’t want a single stutter. I don’t want an uh or an um, I just want this to flow through. Can we try it that way?” It was amazing how it turned out. It was so difficult to get through it without an uh. It was four and a half pages of dialogue at the end of the day. So, it was challenging, but he’s the kind of person that you’d raise to that kind of a challenge for.

Night Shyamalan, has been bringing us ever weirder drama between a family, the nanny they hired to look after their “son” (a doll replacing their deceased infant as a way to deal with grief) and the church that she is now seemingly fighting against.

    With Season 4, it all comes to an end, and the final trailer for the show has now landed. Just don’t expect it all to be wrapped up in a tidy little bow.

    ‘Servant’, for those who might not have been aware until now, follows Dorothy (Lauren Ambrose) and Sean (Toby Kebbell) Turner, a seemingly well-to-do couple living in Philadelphia. He’s an experimental chef, and she’s a TV reporter. But their lives are struck by tragedy when their baby son Jericho dies.

    Plunged into the depths of grief, Dorothy retreats from the world, causing more concern for Sean and her brother Julian (Rupert Grint). To try and help them both recover, Sean buys a doll that could pass for Jericho and hires a nanny, Leanne Grayson (Nell Tiger Free).

    But that’s just the tip of the oddness iceberg, as there are signs that Jericho might be back alive and the demure, nervous Leanne belongs to a church––or is it a cult?––that has designs on the child and the family.

    And, as the series has gone on, the plot turns have become ever stranger (which, let’s be honest, is something we’d expect with Shyamalan’s name among the credits).

    Season 3 ended as the enigmatic and malevolent Leanne had grabbed the resurrected baby Jericho from Dorothy as the latter fell through their brownstone’s rotted staircase.

    Dorothy is back and seemingly recovered in the new season, as much as the severely paranoid woman can recover. “She scares me,” Ambrose’s character admits as Leanne puts on dark lipstick and glides around the house, more powerful than ever. But who really has the power?

    Season 4 promises to tip into the apocalyptic as Leanne displays more abilities, manipulating people and animals around her––and even power lines. ‘Servant’ is certainly not looking to go out quietly.

    Here’s the official synopsis: “Leanne’s war with the Church of Lesser Saints heightens, threatening Spruce Street, the city of Philadelphia and beyond. Meanwhile, the shattered Turner family must not only confront the increasing threat of Leanne, but the certain reality that Dorothy is waking up. As the Turner family brownstone continues to crumble, questions are finally answered: Who is Leanne Grayson and who is the child in their home?”

    We’ll find out when ‘Servant’ Season 4 kicks off with its first episode on Friday January 13th, with further episodes of the 10-episode final run launching weekly.

  • First Trailer For ‘Knock at the Cabin’

    Going to the woods in a movie is rarely the start of a happy day full of joy and counting butterflies – at least, after the initial moments. And if ‘The Cabin in the Woods’ taught us anything, it’s that anything can happen.

    Combine that concern with the fact that this is M. Night Shyamalan’s latest film and you’ve got the recipe for unnerving tension and plenty of terror in ‘Knock at the Cabin.’

    Still, the set-up is bucolic enough: dads Andrew and Eric (Jonathan Groff and Ben Aldridge) bring young daughter Wen (Kristen Cui) to a beautiful cabin somewhere in the States.

    At first, it’s all jumping in a lake, studying insects and generally chilling out – the perfect family vacation.

    Until, that is, Dave Bautista’s hulking mystery man rocks up, knocks at the cabin and announces he’s supposed to “make friends” with the family. And if that wasn’t enough, he then summons some others (Rupert Grint, Nikki Amuka-Bird and Abby Quinn), who proceed to break into the cabin, take the family hostage and unveil their true intentions.

    They’re believers in a coming apocalypse, and according to their ideas, the family have a devastating choice to make. And if they don’t choose? The world will come to an end…

    No pressure, then!

    While he adapted this one (from Paul G. Tremblay’s 2018 book ‘The Cabin at the End of the World’) alongside Steve Desmond and Michael Sherman rather than cranking out an original script, this is Shyamalan firmly in ‘Old’ territory – a contained setting (at least from the looks of this first trailer) and a scary mystery that the characters must figure out.

    What are the new arrivals’ true intentions? Why does the apocalypse seemingly hinge on a choice? And given that they’re stuck in an isolated area, what hope does the family have of avoiding the fate that appears to have befallen them?

    ‘Knock’ represents Night reuniting with a couple of people he’s worked with in the past – Amuka-Bird was part of the ‘Old’ cast, while Grint plays Julian Pearce on the director’s TV series ‘Servant’.

    Bautista, meanwhile, continues his run of eclectic roles, switching between the heroic, comedic likes of Drax in Marvel’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ movies and beyond (he cropped up briefly in this year’s ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’) and the more villainous types such as ‘Dune’s violent, cruel Glossu Rabban Harkonnen (the actor will be back for more of that in ‘Dune: Part Two’, due out on November 17th next year).

    The cast for this latest slice of Shyamalan suspense also includes William Ragsdale, Ali Ashgar Shah, Claire Louise Frost, Scott Vogel and McKenna Kerrigan.

    Sure to make you think twice before answering the door once you’ve seen it, ‘Knock at the Cabin’ will be making its way into theaters on February 3rd.
