    Fans of hit Netflix series “Queer Eye,” prepare to let out a jubilant cry of “Yasss Queen!”: The streaming service has renewed the feel-good make-better series for not one, but two additional seasons.

    Netflix announced the excellent news on Tuesday, revealing that season 4 of the reality show will once again take place in Kansas City, Missouri, the same setting as “Queer Eye” season three. Season five, meanwhile, will be shot in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (Seasons one and two were based in Atlanta.)

    And the renewal wasn’t even the best part of Netflix’s news: Season four will arrive in just over one month, with new episodes set to debut on the streaming service on July 19. Check out this joyful promo video, and just try to stop yourself from bopping along with the Fab Five.

    The guys —  Bobby Berk (interior design), Karamo Brown (culture), Tan France (fashion), Antoni Porowski (food and wine), and Jonathan Van Ness (grooming) — will head to Philly this month to begin production on season five. Those episodes are then set to air sometime in 2020.

    Based on the Gritty cameo in the above promo, we’re hoping that the Fab Five will also be providing some assistance to the oddball Flyers mascot. We can’t think of a more appropriate candidate for a make-better.

    The upcoming third season of beloved Netflix reality series “Queer Eye” is dropping in less than two weeks, and as an emotional promo for the new batch of episodes promises, “YOU. ARE. NOT. READY.”

    In the clip, we meet several of the new subjects set to receive makeovers (a.k.a. “make betters”) from the Fab Five, including a lesbian and a duo — both firsts for the series, which continues to break new ground in each cycle. According to the show’s official Twitter account, season three will be filled with “new heroes, more tears and, of course, ‘holy sh*t’ transformations,” and all those and more are featured prominently in the teaser.

    This time around, the action moves from Atlanta to Kansas City, Missouri, though the show’s core message — delivered by the fabulous Tan France, Antoni Porowski, Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk, and Jonathan Van Ness — remains the same: Loving yourself is the greatest transformation of all.

    “It took me my whole life to realize it’s beautiful and sexy to, like, care for yourself,” one subject says. “I went from being this lost teenage to being a fierce queen.”

    The entire batch of season three episodes of “Queer Eye” drop on Netflix on March 15.

    Bob Ross’s painting show is long since over, but “Queer Eye” star Jonathan Van Ness brought it back — at least, in a way.

    The TV personality stars in a new Netflix video that debuted Wednesday, and he picks up the paintbrush in honor of the well-known artist. By doing so, he gave us the “Queer Eye” meets “The Joy of Painting” union we never knew we needed. In the words of the video, Bob, yass.

    We can’t pretend that Van Ness’s painting is on the level of Ross’s, but that’s not really the point of the video. As the “Queer Eye” star says, “perfection’s boring.” This isn’t so much a how-to as a wonderful, artistic adventure, featuring happy grass, an ethereal sky, and purple pterodactyls.

    On “Queer Eye,” Van Ness is the grooming expert. He has served in that role for two seasons now, and we’ll see him in Season 3 in 2019. Until then, we’ll take him painting like Bob Ross any day.
