The “Full House” house proved too much for the creator of the show. Jeff Franklin, who bought the San Francisco property back in 2016, is now selling it.
“Jeff had no idea how iconic the property was unit he toured it for the first time,” said real estate agent Cindy Ambuehl, who is handling the sale. “After purchasing it, he intended to turn the home into an homage to ‘Full House’ and replicate the set’s floor plan. He had incredible intentions of getting fans off the street and bringing them in. However, he received pushback from neighbors, who worried about the house attracting larger crowds, and instead decided to renovate the entire home, giving the house a modern feel tailored to current San Francisco buyers.”
Most people take their selfies with the”Painted Ladies” (brightly colored Victorian homes) in San Francisco’s Alamo Square, but the TV house is actually at 1709 Broderick Street in San Francisco. (Note, the front door is no longer red.)

Of course, the show wasn’t filmed on site, but on a soundstage and the real house looks nothing like the Tanner abode inside.
The 3,728 square foot, four bedroom, three-and-a-half bath home has been renovated and seismically retrofitted. It’s going for a modest $5,995,000.
The listing is here, if you’ve got that kind of cash and don’t find hordes of fans camping out on your doorstep day and night.
“Fuller House” is opening it doors one last time before boarding up for good.
Netflix has renewed the family sitcom for a fifth and final season, per an announcement via the show’s official Twitter. Season 4 of the sequel/spinoff premiered just before the holidays in December.
The cast bid farewell to fans in the announcement video:
“Fuller House” was one of the first shows to capitalize on the nostalgia for ’90s classics. In its wake came “Will & Grace” on NBC, “Roseanne” on ABC, and “Murphy Brown” on CBS.
Including the original ABC series (which ran from 1987 to 1995), the franchise will have run for eight total seasons.
Netflix’s sequel followed the now-adult DJ Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure), sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), and best friend Kimmy (Andrea Barber) living together and raising their kids in the familiar Tanner family residence.
Season 4 brought all the original “grown-ups” back to San Francisco: Danny (Bob Saget), Joey (Dave Coulier), Jesse (John Stamos) and Rebecca (Lori Loughlin). In the season finale, Kimmy gave birth to a baby girl, while Stephanie got engaged.
This animated adventure has it all: a star-studded voice cast, catchy original songs, jokes for kids and adults, and a ton of heart. A young male Yeti (Channing Tatum) discovers something he’s always believed to be a myth: a human! Migo and Percy (James Corden) become unlikely friends, despite the disapproval of the Yeti elders and the fear on the part of the humans.
The movie arrives on Blu-ray and DVD on December 11 (and is already available on Digital HD).
Denzel Washington flexes his special set of skills in reprising his role as retired Marine and spy Robert McCall. Now, he’s working as a Lyft driver, while still assisting people who need help. But when his friend and colleague is brutally murdered, he sets out on a course of revenge. There are a million other subplots, but the gist is — Washington kicks ass.
The movie arrives on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on December 11 (and is already available on Digital HD).
Jennifer Garner rediscovers herself as an action star in this vigilante movie. She shows off her bicep guns, much like in her “Alias” days, as a mother who hones a special set of skills so she can target the cartel responsible for killing her daughter and husband.
The movie arrives on Blu-ray and DVD on December 11 (and is already available on Digital HD).
Sony’s efforts to create a Spider-Man spinoff universe certainly paid — at the box office, at least. Critics may have torn apart this super anti-hero flick, but it raked in the big bucks. Tom Hardy stars as a journalist named Eddie Brock who comes into contact with an alien symbiote that fuses with him. That gives him superpowers but also turns him into a slime monster with a really gross, long tongue. Available December 11 on Digital HD.
Blake Lively stars in this stylish thriller as Emily Nelson, an elegant and mysterious woman who strikes up a sort-of friendship with fellow mom Stephanie (Anna Kendrick). Then, Emily disappears without a trace after calling Stephanie for the titular favor. Is she dead? Where did she go? Should her husband (Henry Golding) be a suspect? This is the kind of grown-up movie — beautifully shot, with snappy performances and a carefully-built mystery — that just don’t get made anymore. Available December 11 on Digital HD.
It’s a no-brainer to pair up Tiffany Haddish and Kevin Hart, two of Hollywood’s most in-demand comedic actors. The premise of the movie is pretty simple: Hart attends night school in hopes of getting his GED, which he needs to get a sales job. Haddish is his no-nonsense teacher who doesn’t take any BS from her students. Available December 11 on Digital HD.
Oscar-winning director Alfonso Cuarón gets personal and emotional in this semi-autobiographical tale. The film, shot in black and white, is already getting major awards buzz. So is newcomer Yalitza Aparicio, who plays a young domestic worker for a family in the titular middle-class Mexico City neighborhood.
‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter’s Tale’ (Netflix Original)
The night is dark and full of terrors in this Christmas special from the teen supernatural series. It takes place on the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year, which means there’s plenty of time for magical mischief.
‘Fuller House’ Season 4 (Netflix Original)
The TGIF family sitcom returns to find Danny (Bob Saget), Joey (Dave Coulier), Jesse (John Stamos) and Rebecca (Lori Loughlin) all moving back to San Francisco. It will also follow Kimmy’s (Andre Barber) pregnancy, with D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure) and Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) on hand to support her.
‘Sports Illustrated’s Sportsperson of the Year,’ NBC (December 13)
The honor of Sportsperson of the Year is given to the athlete, coach, or team who best exemplifies the ideals of sportsmanship and achievement. Previous winners include Serena Williams, LeBron James, and the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team.
Just in time for the holidays, the Tanner-Fuller gang is returning.
Netflix released the “Fuller House” Season 4 trailer on Tuesday, Nov. 27, so the heartwarming moments have begun. The preview teases the continuation of the romance between DJ (Candace Cameron Bure) and Steve (Scott Weinger), Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and Kimmy (Andrea Barber) dealing with their surrogacy situation, and young love. There’s even a dream 30 years in the making that is finally fulfilled.
As with past seasons, the older generation of original “Full House” stars pops in for more family fun. The trailer features Uncles Joey (Dave Coulier) and Jesse (John Stamos), Aunt Becky (Lori Loughlin), and dad Danny (Bob Saget).
Watch below.
Netflix promises we’ll get “a brand-new season of love, laughs, and (of course) HUGS,” and after watching the trailer, it’s clear the show will definitely deliver all of the above. As always, you got it, dude!
Netflix announced that Season 4 of the family sitcom will premiere December 14, just in time for the holidays.
Season 4 picks up with Danny (Bob Saget), Joey (Dave Coulier), Jesse (John Stamos) and Rebecca (Lori Loughlin) all moving back to San Francisco. It will also follow Kimmy’s (Andre Barber) pregnancy, with D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure) and Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) on hand to support her.
Guest stars this season include Maria Canals-Barrera (“Cristela”) as Fernando’s mother; Lee Majors (“The Six Million Dollar Man”) and Lindsay Wagner (“The Bionic Woman”) as a pair of retired detectives; Josh Peck (“Grandfathered”) as a hipster dad Jesse meets at a daddy-and-me group for baby Pamela; and Leslie Grossman as a doctor at the hospital where Kimmy is due to give birth.
Netflix also released a few first look photos from Season 4:
“…TVLine has heard that Netflix is seriously considering ending ‘Fuller House’ with its upcoming fourth season. When reached for comment, a Netflix spokesperson told TVLine, ‘No decision has been made about the future of Fuller House; we’re looking forward to the premiere of Season 4 later this year.’”
No reason for a (possible) cancellation was shared, but it’s worth noting that series creator Jeff Franklin was fired as showrunner between Season 3 and the upcoming Season 4. It’s possible that’s a factor, if the show does end after Season 4. Or maybe they’ve just told all the story they want to tell? Or the actors are ready to move on?
If the series does end, it would be nice for the Olsen twins to show up for a cameo. They probably won’t, and they don’t owe anyone anything, but it would still be nice for them to return to the “home” that made them rich and famous.
“Fuller House” Season 4 was filmed in September, TVLine reports, including guest stars Lee Majors and Lindsay Wagner (aka The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman) as a pair of retired detectives; plus Leslie Grossman; Maria Canals-Barrera; and Josh Peck.
Melissa Joan Hart and Sean Astin are making a sitcom together at Netflix. They play parents in “No Good Nick,” a multi-camera comedy which Netflix has already given a 20-episode commitment.
And according to Melissa, the first episode show night is tonight:
According to Deadline, they play married couple Liz and Ed — described as a “hyper-competitive career mom” and “lovable but dorky ‘fun dad’” — who welcome 13-year-old Nick (Siena Agudong) into their home, only to discover that she’s a “street-smart con artist with a secret agenda.” Kalama Epstein and Lauren Lindsey Donzis co-star as Liz and Ed’s children.
Here’s the first “No Good Nick” cast photo:
Netflix
Melissa Cobb, vice president of Kids and Family at Netflix, shared a statement:
“Melissa Joan Hart and Sean Astin are beloved by millions of fans around the world, and we are delighted to bring them together as parents for the very first time. We hope to entertain kids and families with heart, mystery and a lot of fun when No Good Nick comes to Netflix.”
So it’s a show aimed at kids and families — and aiming to match the success of Netflix’s “Fuller House.”
“Lord of the Rings” alum Sean Astin is no stranger to Netflix after playing Bob Newby in “Stranger Things” Season 2. Melissa Joan Hart has a long list of TV credits — from “Clarissa Explains It All” to “Melissa & Joey” — but she will always be Sabrina Spellman to “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” fans. And now that she’s part of the Netflix family, maybe she can cameo in Netflix’s “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”?
There’s no premiere date yet for “No Good Nick,” but Netflix will keep everyone posted.

“Fuller House” Season 4 is starting production “pretty soon,” “Full House” creator Jeff Franklin.
After what Variety described as “numerous complaints about Franklin’s behavior,” Warner Bros. TV issued a statement saying they would not renew his production deal, and “he will no longer be working on ‘Fuller House.”
Candace Cameron Bure talked to ET about heading back to work soon for Season 4, and they asked her for reaction to Franklin being dismissed from the show. Here’s what she said:
“Jeff is a dear friend and he’s been a wonderful showrunner and he will be sorely missed from all of us. But the show must go on. We’ll do that and we hope that we will have a great season.”
The show has gone on without him before. Franklin left “Full House” as showrunner after Season 5 to work on “Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper.” Last year, Franklin told CinemaBlend that the first episode of “Fuller House” was like his last episode of “Full House,” since he wasn’t happy with the way the original show ended:
“I do regret that I didn’t stay involved with ‘Full House’ for its entire run. I was a little mystified at some of the creative decisions that got made in my absence. Some of the things that I’m doing on ‘Fuller House’ sort-of try to address some of the missteps that I think the show took in its last couple of years and get back to where I feel the show should be.”
After the news of his departure was revealed, Jeff Franklin shared an Instagram post with his “Fuller House” stars:
Candace Cameron Bure told E! she wants even more heartwarming content in Season 4:
“What’s most important to me is as much fun as we have on that show, it’s always about the heart and lessons that are learned as families. I really want to make sure we bring that in in Season 4, even more than we have in any other season.”
Netflix hasn’t set a premiere date yet for Season 4.
“Fuller House” Season 3B brought back an old favorite from “Full House.” No, it wasn’t Michelle. (We can probably kill that dream by now.) It was Vicky Larson! You’ll remember Vicky (Gail Edwards) as Danny Tanner’s (Bob Saget) girlfriend, then fiancée, in “Full House” Season 5-7. Vicky and Danny broke up when she landed her dream anchor job in New York while Danny stayed with his family in San Francisco.
Well, the Netflix series brought Vicky back in a Season 3 finale cameo that suggests good things for Season 4. (If there is a Season 4. Netflix hasn’t given an official green light yet.) D.J. and Stephanie surprised Danny with the re-appearance of Vicky, and he invited her to the Dadiversary party.
TVLine asked show creator Jeff Franklin about the return of Vicky:
“The storyline just took us to Danny getting divorced and being single again, and we felt it would be a good time to bring her back and reintroduce her. Not that there’s necessarily going to be a rekindling of their romance, but it was just a good time in our storytelling to see them together again. We spent a lot of time building Vicky’s character and building that relationship, and that one got ripped apart as well. I don’t think any of those decisions were big crowdpleasers back in the day. All of those little decisions contributed to the show’s early demise. For me, it’s just nice to bring her back and say we love you. That was what it was about for me.”
Oh, they’d better rekindle that romance and not just bring her back for a cameo. Come on, now. It’s their density destiny to be together.
There was a lot more going on in Season 4 — including the adults moving back to San Francisco and Kimmy acting as surrogate for Stephanie’s baby. That’s plenty of fodder for Season 4, and fans are ready for all of it, especially Vicky + Danny:
Fell asleep watching episode 10 and then 18 of #FullerHouse. Watched most episodes I didn’t work at, just need to watch episode 16. The finale was nice. Please get Vicky and Danny back together and marry, same with DJ and Steve!
Steve and Vicky were introduced in S5.
DJ&Steve and Danny&Vicky said their first ILYs in 6×05.
DJ&Steve and Danny&Vicky broke up in S7.
Will Jeff Franklin right both wrongs in Season 3B and put both DJ&Steve and Danny&Vicky back together again? ???????? #FullerHousepic.twitter.com/6HiuX3Lk2l

Fell asleep watching episode 10 and then 18 of #FullerHouse. Watched most episodes I didn’t work at, just need to watch episode 16. The finale was nice. Please get Vicky and Danny back together and marry, same with DJ and Steve!
Fans seem to really love “Fuller House,” so it would be surprising if Netflix didn’t give it a Season 4, and possibly more beyond that. But will Vicky and Danny end up getting married, or just see where things go?
