  • ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Engagement: ABC Unveils Photo of Jared Haibon’s Proposal to Ashley Iaconetti

There will be tears in the upcoming season of “Bachelor in Paradise,” but the good news is that at least some of them will be happy ones. Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon, two multi-season cast members, have officially gotten engaged, and there’s photographic evidence.

On Monday, the “Bachelor in Paradise” Twitter account shared a photo of the moment to congratulate the couple, writing in part, “We’re all crying now.” Iaconetti, who openly calls herself “the crying girl” from her season of “The Bachelor” and later appearances on “Bachelor in Paradise,” later retweetwed it.

Unfortunately for fans, Iaconetti and Haibon haven’t been sharing many details about the proposal or their plans with fans yet. However, the bride-to-be did share that news broke before she had a chance to tell her own grandmother.

After years of will-they, won’t-they, though, Iaconetti and Haibon are probably fine with things happening a little out of order. The two met in 2015 on “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 2, and Iaconetti was immediately taken with Haibon, as she discussed on her web series “The Story of Us.” Her now-fiancé, on the other hand, wasn’t ready to commit to her, so they stayed friends in spite of becoming close. Finally, after a lot of highs and lows, they got their timing right, and they revealed that they were dating in late May.

Clearly, Iaconetti and Haibon weren’t joking when they said they were serious about being together now. Haibon proposed where it all began, in Mexico, where they are for the upcoming season of “Bachelor in Paradise,” according to People. Their engagement is a big milestone, and we hope to see it on the show.

“Bachelor in Paradise” is set to air this summer.

  • Meghan Trainor ‘Blacked out’ When ‘Spy Kids’ Star Daryl Sabara Proposed

Grammy winner Meghan Trainor is engaged to “the kid from ‘Spy Kids’” — actor Daryl Sabara — but funnily enough, she doesn’t remember what her now-fiancé said during the proposal.

As a guest on “The Tonight Show” on Wednesday, Trainor gave host Jimmy Fallon the details of Sabara’s recent proposal, calling it “perfect.” She shared that her fiancé managed to surprise her on her 24th birthday during a visit to a zoo lights show in Palm Springs. He popped the question with her whole family there, and Trainor was so excited that she “blacked out” and had “a quick panic attack.”

Her retelling of the story was adorable. We love that not only does she, herself, refer to her future husband as “the kid from ‘Spy Kids,’” but she also gushed to Fallon and the crowd, telling them, “I’m in love!”

Watch Trainor tell the story below, starting at 1:24.

“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.

  • ‘Westworld’ Star Evan Rachel Wood Is Engaged to Zach Villa

The 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards - Red CarpetEvan Rachel Wood may have left the 2017 SAG Awards empty-handed on Sunday, but one of her hands showcased a very significant piece of jewelry.

The “Westworld” star’s rep has confirmed to Us Weekly that Wood is engaged to her bandmate, Zach Villa. The two, who have been the source of relationship speculation since early December, were both seen with silver bands on their left ring fingers while at the Jan. 29 awards show.

The couple reportedly met in 2015 while performing at a John Hughes-themed cabaret. Apparently, they hit it off over “Sixteen Candles”- and “Breakfast Club”-inspired performances, because they decided to team up to form the musical duo Rebel and the Basketcase that year. It’s unclear at what point they started dating.

Their engagement marks Wood’s third, following one to musician Marilyn Manson in 2010 and another to actor Jamie Bell in 2012. While she and Manson never made it down the aisle, she married Bell in October 2012. The two split in May 2014 and have a 3-year-old son together.

Incidentally, Bell and Kate Mara confirmed their engagement earlier this month. Love must be in the air.
