  • Emily Blunt’s Boobs Vetoed the Nude Scene Planned for ‘Sicario’

Emily Blunt is such an independent minded actress that even her breasts think and speak for themselves. Emily was on Howard Stern’s Sirius XM radio show, and it’s pretty much the law that if you go on Howard Stern you have to talk about nudity, sex, boobs, etc. Emily covered her bases when discussing a nude scene that did not make the cut of her badass new war-on-drugs movie “Sicario.” It was a scene between Benicio Del Toro and herself, and she apparently rejected it. Or “they” rejected it.

As Emily put it (via People), “[A nude scene] was in there originally but it came out because we didn’t agree with it.” Who is this “we”? Emily replied, “My tits. [They said] ‘we’re not doing it.’ “

Well, the tits have spoken — and who’s going to dare argue with them? Emily added that “Benicio backed me up,” so he was Team Tits, or Team No Tits, as it turned out. No one should have to give a reason for shutting down a nude scene — especially for a movie that is not exactly dependent on nude scenes — but this at least was a funny and unique way of explaining what didn’t happen.

  • Best of Late Night TV: Celebrity Mean Tweets and Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s Barbershop Quartet

If you’re like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don’t worry; we’ve got you covered. Here’s the best of what happened last night on late night.

Mean Tweets Week is over on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” and these are the best of the best from stars like Jeff Bridges, Kristen Bell, Benedict Cumberbatch and Emily Blunt. Our favorite of the batch? “Kristen Bell seems like such a bitch, her vagina is probably an Alcatraz for penis.” Yikes.

Chances are you already saw the video of Seth Meyers made her act out what would happen had she actually met Saint Mimi, and it was a hot mess. Not like “Glitter” hot mess, but close.

Finally, the best part of last night on late night? The Rag Time Gals are back! This time singing a barbershop quartet version of “Bitch Better Have My Money” –– with Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a surprise guest. Um, amazing. No words. Just amazing.

  • Best of Late Night TV: Justin Timberlake’s Looks and Stevie Wonder’s Carpool Karaoke

If you’re like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don’t worry; we’ve got you covered. Here’s the best of what happened last night on late night.

First up, the best thing that’s ever come out of “The Tonight Show”: “Looks,” a short film starring Jimmy Fallon, Justin Timberlake and Will Ferrell in which the key to communication is just staring at people without saying a word.

Next up, a game of Long Story Short with Benicio Del Toro, Jessica Alba and Miguel. The rules? Describe a movie in under five seconds without saying it’s name. If it sounds complicated and slightly ridiculous, it’s because it is.

Um, guys, The Late Show.” That is all.

Meanwhile, James Cordon teamed up for some carpool karaoke, and after Cordon questioned Wonder’s ability to drive and Wonder mocked Cordon’s accent, they busted out a killer rendition of “Superstition” and drove around town together. Ugh, Cordon has literally the best job ever, life is not fair.

  • Best of Late Night TV: Stephen Colbert’s First ‘Late Show,’ Tina Fey’s Dubsmash, Rita Ora’s ‘Clickbait Song’

If you’re like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don’t worry; we’ve got you covered. Here’s the best of what happened last night on late night.

Stephen! Stephen! Stephen! The crowd chanted for the new host on the premiere of “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” on Tuesday, September 8. It was a big evening across late night, with only “Conan” on repeats and “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” “Late Night With Seth Meyers,” and “The Late Late Show With James Corden” all breaking out major guests. Here’s your competition, Stephen!

Colbert opened his show with a montage of “The Star-Spangled Banner” as sung by Stephen and guests across the country, including a cameo from Jon Stewart. The episode ended with a massive jam session with a bunch of musicians playing “Everyday People.” Stephen introduced his band, Jon Batiste and Stay Human, and they showed off the new “Late Show” intro and Ed Sullivan Theater.

Stephen only had two guests for the premiere, and his first guest, George Clooney, had no movie to promote, so they made one up: “Decision Strike.” We’d watch!
The second guest, Jeb Bush, complimented President Obama (kind of) and talked about how, as president, he’d bring people together — Democrats and Republicans. He also explained how he’s different from his brother George. Here’s a special online bonus clip with more detailed political answers from Jeb:
No late night episode is complete without shameless Donald Trump promotion, so here’s Stephen’s All You Can Trump Buffet, complete with Oreos — because Trump said he will never eat Oreos again. Stephen’s first show included a beautiful tribute to David Letterman, who retired from the “Late Show” earlier this year, plus a video cameo from Jimmy Fallon, whose “Tonight Show” airs at the same time (nice way to defuse any potential late night feud talk). Of all the current late night hosts, Colbert was probably closest to upbeat Fallon — without the games and gushing. (Stephen does need to work on letting the guests talk a bit more.)
“The Tonight Show” had Richard Gere, Jessica Simpson and Keith Urban. Jessica talked about her kids and how she always wears high heels. She even jet skis in heels, and they showed a photo. Richard got the crowd going — he wanted to join the band — but was more serious when talking about his feelings of isolation when playing a homeless man.
Over on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Jimmy featured the amazing Emily Blunt (his neighbor), who is now a U.S. citizen. She answered American trivia as part of a REAL U.S. citizenship test and discussed Josh Brolin’s pool party with his “Sicario” co-stars, including Benicio Del Toro who jumped into very cold water while wearing very thin cotton boxers.
Also on JKL, Rita Ora and Chris Brown performed “Body On Me,” and Jimmy decided Rita’s music needs to be even catchier so he collected some clickbait headlines set to music to create “The Clickbait Song.” Instant classic!
Over on “Late Night,” Tina Fey — promoting “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” — shamed her old Beyonce dubsmash, saying it wasn’t even that great. So she schooled the Internet with The Greatest Dubsmash Ever. (Spoiler alert: It’s Maya Rudolph in bed.)
Nick Jonas was also on Seth’s show and Nick talked about that time, when he was about 14, he saw three UFOs. So, like his buddy Demi Lovato, he’s a firm believer in extraterrestrial life. Does he believe in mermaids, though?
James Corden won for hottest male guests — sorry Clooney — with Bradley Cooper, Andrew Garfield, and Jake McDorman. Watch below to see Bradley break out some sweet dance moves, and Andrew let his hair flow free. Plus — this is great — Jake talked about meeting Bradley on the set of “American Sniper” and bulked-up Bradley’s first question was “You guys seen that movie ‘Frozen’?”

  • What Ronda Rousey Would Look Like as Captain Marvel

    UFC 190: Rousey v Correia

Ronda Rousey is tough competition inside the ring or at a casting call.

The MMA champ revealed in a Reddit AMA last week that she’d “like to vie for Miss Marvel,” and fans have gone wild over her dream role. On Instagram, the athlete-actress shared fan-submitted photo illustrations of herself donning superhero Captain Marvel’s costume.

Previously fans put Emily Blunt’s name in the hat when Marvel announced that a film based on the hero is in the works. The Oscar-nominated actress said “if it’s an awesome part, it doesn’t matter if it’s a Marvel movie or a tiny movie, I’d be up for it.”

Anne Hathaway kicks things off with “Love” by Mary J. Blige. Emily Blunt hits back by getting down to “No Diggity” by Blackstreet.
Emily Blunt channels Janis Joplin (eerie, isn’t it?) as she takes on “Piece of My Heart” in the final round against Anne Hathaway and her spectacular interpretation of “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus.

  • ‘The Huntsman’ Adds Jessica Chastain

87th Annual Academy Awards - ArrivalsOscar nom Jessica Chastain is the latest high-profile star to join “The Huntsman,” Universal’s spin-off of the 2012 blockbuster “Snow White and the Huntsman.” It’s taken a while for this big budget fantasy flick to get off the ground, but with the recent hire of Emily Blunt and now Chastain, it seems this team is just about ready to go back into the woods.

Chris Hemsworth is returning as the eponymous huntsman, alongside Charlize Theron as Ravenna, the best and meanest screen queen. The project was originally intended as a sequel, but after considerable behind-the-scenes drama, Kristen Stewart’s Snow White and director Rupert Sanders were banished from the land. Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, who was the second unit director on “Snow White and the Huntsman” and “Maleficent,” will be making his feature-length directorial debut, with a script most recently polished by Frank Darabont. Darabont was also attached to direct but left due to “creative differences.”

“The Huntsman” is currently aiming for release on April 22, 2016. Meanwhile, you can catch Chastain in Guillermo del Toro’s creepy “Crimson Peak” next October.
