Chrissy Teigen is ready to make small claims court “a little more petty.”

The TV personality has just landed an unexpected new gig: arbitrating small claims cases on a new Quibi reality series. The show, “Chrissy’s Court,” will involve real plantiffs, defendants, and disputes, per Deadline. It apparently doesn’t matter that Teigen’s not an actual judge; her decisions will be final and binding.

The episodes will be 10 minutes long each, and they’ll show Teigen arbitrating disputes while her mother, Vialiluck “Pepper Thai” Teigen, serves as the bailiff. The model-turned-“judge” teased on Twitter that her mom will scold arguing plaintiffs and defendants and “basically take selfies the entire time.”

Teigen has developed a sizable following in recent years. Her outspoken personality has led to her amassing more than 11 million Twitter followers and nabbing some very eclectic gigs. In addition to her court show, she co-hosts “Lip Sync Battle” and is working on new food shows for Hulu. She’ll also judge the upcoming NBC comedy competition, “Bring the Funny.”

Teigen will executive produce “Chrissy’s Court” through her production company, Suit & Thai Productions. The show is produced by Suit & Thai and 3 Arts Entertainment. Luke Dillion is also set to executive produce.

At Least the 2018 Emmys Provided These Great Reaction GIFs

Emmys 2018, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend
    NBC screen shot, via Twitter

The 2018 Emmys was not one for the books, unless it was a book you were planning to donate. It definitely had more worst than best moments.

On the upside, not that many people suffered through it. But those of us who did the hard time came away with some new quality GIFs to use for all sorts of Internet occasions.

Like this one, which could’ve been used just about every five minutes during the show:

Chrissy Teigen provided a great reaction shot early in the night, proving John Legend‘s better half remains the most relatable person at every awards show….

Tweeters also went into meme mode for moments like Merritt Wever dropping an f-bomb when she won, then trying to cover it up….

Alex Borstein slipping into something more comfortable on her way up to accept Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy…

Keri Russell giving no f*cks about Matthew Rhys mentioning her threat to sock him if he proposed to her…

    Leslie Jones in shock…

And Will Ferrell dragging the show out even more….

In addition to memes, there’s now the mystery of Who Dressed as Teddy Perkins? Many fans thought it was “Atlanta” star Donald Glover himself — who played Teddy on the FX show — until Glover posed with the character…

Check out the full list of winners from the show. Here’s hoping the upcoming awards season — Golden Globes, Oscars, etc. — provides more meme moments, and maybe even solid entertainment.

  • Creative Arts Emmys 2018: John Legend Earns EGOT (and More Chrissy Teigen ‘Arthur’ Trolling)

Creative Arts Emmys 2018: John Legend Earns EGOT (and More Chrissy Teigen ‘Arthur’ Trolling)

    Chrissy Teigen/Twitter

This year’s Creative Arts Emmys had the distinction of crowning not one, not two, but three brand new members of the exclusive EGOT club, with John Legend, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Tim Rice all snagging statuettes on Sunday night to complete their collection. And as usual, Legend’s wife, Chrissy Teigen, couldn’t help but take the opportunity to poke some fun at her husband.

Legend, Lloyd Webber, and Rice took home the Emmy for Best Live Variety Special for “Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert,” which they co-produced alongside Craig Zadan (the late prolific producer known for his work on “Chicago” and recent Oscars telecasts), Marc Platt, Neil Meron, Mike Jackson, Ty Stiklorius, Alex Rudzinski, and Javier Winnik. But it was the first three who had also previously won a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony, making them the 13th, 14th, and 15th members of the EGOT club.

Legend’s new status is of particular note, since he is the first African-American man to claim EGOT status. And at 39, he’s also one of the youngest people ever to earn the honor, following “Frozen” songwriter Robert Lopez, who was also 39 when he snagged his final piece of the EGOT crown (the 2014 Best Original Song Oscar, for “Let It Go”).

The multi-hyphenate shared his surprise and gratitude on social media, writing on Instagram that he was “amazed to be in such rarefied air.” Teigen’s reaction was more succinct, calling the trio “EGOT GOATS.”

But she saved the best commentary for last: Continuing to troll Legend over his resemblance to the titular aardvark on beloved kids series “Arthur.”

“And I say hey, what a wonderful kind of day,” Teigen captioned a video of Legend adding his Emmy to his already-crowded awards shelf. (For the uninitiated, those are lyrics from the “Arthur” theme song.) No word on whether or not she had to move any of her own awards out of the way, as previously promised.

Legend may want to do some additional rearranging: He’s up for yet another statuette, for Best Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for “Jesus Christ Superstar,” at next week’s primetime ceremony. That show is slated to air on September 17 on NBC.

  • ‘SNL’ Went to ‘A Kanye Place’ for ‘A Quiet Place’ Parody (and Kanye Approved)

    Saturday Night Live.”

Glover did star in a “Star Wars” sketch, as expected, since he was promoting “Solo: A Star Wars Story.”

But he also joined SNL’s hilarious sketch spoofing Kanye West’s extreme behavior — and the extreme reactions to his behavior — in “A Quiet Place” parody called “A Kanye Place”:Kanye West, Chrissy Teigen, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson all reacted to their shoutouts:

Glover wasn’t even part of the political cold open that featured cameos from half the planet.

Deadline called it “the Infinity War of cold opens” — featuring Alec Baldwin (President Trump), Ben Stiller (Michael Cohen), Martin Short (Dr. Bornstein), Kate McKinnon (Rudy Giuliani), Aidy Bryant (Sarah Huckabee Sanders), Cecily Strong (Melania Trump), Leslie Jones (Omarosa), Beck Bennett (Mike Pence), Scarlett Johansson (Ivanka Trump), Jimmy Fallon (Jared Kushner), and porn star Stormy Daniels as herself:The cameos continued when it came time to introduce Childish Gambino as musical guest. Usually that’s the host’s job, but since Glover was pulling double duty, SNL broke out Zoe Kravitz and Daniel Kaluuya (“Get Out,” “Black Panther”) to introduce him. (They should make it a tradition for celebs to introduce the musical guests.)

Here are more sketches from the night, including Glover’s Star Wars sketch as Lando Calrissian; a “Jurassic World” courtroom sketch; and Migos parody:

  • Chrissy Teigen Calls Out Fox News in Blunt Tweet

The 59th GRAMMY Awards - ArrivalsYou can always count on Chrissy Teigen for uncensored opinions.

The model and TV personality didn’t mince words after Fox News tried to capitalize on her social media following on Monday. The network’s Twitter account tagged her in a tweet promoting one of its news stories, and she clearly didn’t want to be associated with the conservative media outlet.

“@FoxNews I respectfully ask you please don’t ever tag me in anything, ever. Words cannot explain how much I detest you,” she wrote in response to the original tweet.

The tagging wasn’t completely random, of course; the Fox News story was on celebrities — including Teigen — who spoke out against United Airlines after two young teen girls had to change out of leggings to be allowed on their flight. Still, you can’t blame her for not wanting her fame to benefit an outlet she detests.

We’ll see if the lesson sticks.

  • Joseph Gordon-Levitt Returning to ‘Lip Sync Battle’ vs. Seth Rogen & Anthony Mackie

lip sync battle, joseph gordon-levitt, seth rogen, anthony mackieLip Sync Battle” crown again, and is teaming up with his “The Night Before” costars Seth Rogen and Anthony Mackie for an epic holiday special edition of the Spike show.

Gordon-Levitt, Rogen, and Mackie are set to throw down later this month, joining hosts LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen for some holiday-themed debauchery, complete with Rogen playing a naughty Elf on the Shelf and an appearance from rappers Run-D.M.C., who perform (well, “perform,” since they’ll probably be lip syncing, too) their classic “Christmas in Hollis.” Other special guests are set to drop in, too.

But the real draw will be to see if Gordon-Levitt can once again claim “Lip Sync Battle” glory, following his The Tonight Show,” where he went head-to-head with Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Merchant. While Fallon granted both men the crown, audiences seemingly sided with Gordon-Levitt, and he’s not likely to leave the “Lip Sync Battle” stage this time without sole possession of the championship belt — even if he’s gotta dress in drag as Janet Jackson to do it.

Check out a preview of the fun below. The “Lip Sync Battle” holiday special airs on November 19 on Spike.

  • Stephen Merchant’s ‘Dirrty’ ‘Lip Sync Battle’ Dance Is Too Nasty to Miss

When it comes to actual lip sync talent – if there is such a thing – “Lip Sync Battle.” Hands down. She was, as Chrissy Teigen put it, “the most adorable gangster” in her “Talk Dirty” performance. “She looks like if American Girl dolls made a thug Samantha.”

Akerman, who leads Yahoo’s new “Sin City Saints” cast, was legit sexy and had some real dance moves. But Stephen Merchant, co-creator of “The Office” and star of “Hello Ladies,” won the night from here just for the, um, balls to show up in those leather chaps with “Nasty” on the back and some extra business in the front.

He kind of lip synched to Xtina’s “Dirry,” but mostly he just awkwardly jerked his tall British body into various positions. At the end of the dance, Akerman said she loved what was happening around the chaps, asking if that was a sock down his pants. He answered by reaching down, pulling out the sock and flinging it at Chrissy Teigen. Teigen decided the thing to do was pick it up and sniff it. That was gross, and she admitted as much. But when you’re doin’ the “Dirty”/”Dirrty” dance off, you have to go with the flow.

  • Best of Late Night TV: Christina Aguilera’s Amazing Britney Spears Impression, Kobe Bryant’s Lakers Disapproval (VIDEO)

If you’re like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don’t worry; we’ve got you covered. Here’s the best of what happened last night on late night.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” Monday night, and Jimmy had “The Voice” coach play “Wheel of Musical Impressions.” Xtina had to mix artists like Cher (with whom she worked in “Burlesque”) with songs like the Folgers Coffee jingle. She was good! Christina really went for it when she got Britney Spears (her fellow Mouseketeer then pop star rival) paired with “This Little Piggy.” Pretty obvious that was not just a random selection, but dagnabbit – Christina nailed it. For once, Jimmy was completely outshined at one of his own games. He gave her a standing ovation! Christina also sang Shakira well. The woman can sing. “Survivor” host Jeff Probst was on “The Tonight Show” and explained why he stopped doing pranks. He pranked Dave Grohl with a fake Adam Levine Gmail account – and it backfired. Genuinely great story. Basically, Jeff insulted some nice person’s mother. Hilarious. Kobe Bryant was on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Monday night to talk about his rumored retirement, his documentary, his injury, the Lakers losing streak, his disappointment with his teammates reactions (you have to see his face in that clip), Bill Clinton and Michael Jackson. He also answered some viewer questions. Chrissy Teigen was also on JKL, talking about Oscar night. Her husband John Legend just won an Oscar, and John was there backstage, so she wasn’t sure why she was the one on JKL. She also did a (sad) magic trick since she just joined a special magic group. Stephen Amell of “Arrow” was on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” and the ladies in the audience just loved him. Seth’s show is hitting its one-year anniversary, and Stephen had tweeted that one of his goals for 2015 was to be on this show. Stephen shared a story about being at the Golden Globes in 2013. He sat by himself at the “Big Bang” table and it was awkward. Good interview, though. Interesting guy. The great Mary J. Blige was on “Late Night,” talking about guest starring on “Empire” and how her friend Taraji P. Henson might be a little too much fun. Dame Helen Mirren (BOW TO HER) was on “Late Show with David Letterman,” discussing the Oscars, “Selma” and equal pay for women. Dave also had Daytona 500 winner Joey Logano, 24, on his show. “Conan” featured the cast of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” – you can see a bunch of videos on the TeamCoco site, but here’s the story behind the “Lethal Weapon” episode. Charlie Day argues that it wasn’t blackface, it was “Danny Glover face.” Plus, they insulted North Korea years before “The Interview” and no one cared.
