  • ‘The LEGO Movie 2’ Gets Official (and Appropriate) Title, Logo

The long-awaited sequel to 2014’s quirky and clever animated hit “The LEGO Movie” finally has an official title, and it’s an appropriate moniker that nods to the flick’s toy inspiration.

As revealed on the film’s Twitter page, the movie will be titled “The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part.” It also now has a logo, which has a similar style to the first flick’s, prominently featuring the titular building blocks.

We still don’t know too much (or really anything) about the plot of the follow-up film, though many members of the original voice cast are set to return, including Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, and Will Arnett. Current Hollywood It Girl Tiffany Haddish has also joined the flick, playing a new, as-yet-unnamed lead character.

“The LEGO Movie” followed a LEGO figure named Emmet (Pratt) who’s mistakenly identified as the Special, and called upon to save the LEGO-verse from the evil Lord Business (Will Ferrell). He bands together with a bunch of other minifigs, including familiar characters like Batman (Arnett), Wonder Woman, Dumbledore, the Ninja Turtles, and Han Solo, to name just a few.

Directing duo Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who helmed the first film, are back as producers this time around, with Mike Mitchell (“Trolls,” “The SpongeBob Movie”) taking over the director’s chair for the follow-up. “The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part” is due in theaters on February 8, 2018.

  • Watch Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard Try to Fly With a ‘Service’ Dinosaur

The latest debate over an airline’s service and support animal policy involves some very recognizable passengers: Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.

The “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” stars teamed up with CollegeHumor to promote their upcoming film, and the result is an entertaining video that makes light of the trouble airlines have had with travelers trying to bring on interesting animals that may not truly provide service or support. In the sketch, an airline employee (Raphael Chestang) is checking in Owen (Pratt) and Claire (Dallas Howard) when he realizes that they intend to bring a velociraptor with them. The two try to make the case to him that the dinosaur is a service animal, but it’s understandably a hard sell.

Airlines have been having to change their policies in recent months to ensure that federal laws meant to protect passengers with disabilities are not abused. American Airlines, for example, announced additions this week to its list of animals that it won’t allow in the cabin as emotional support animals. Newly banned creatures include amphibians, goats, hedgehogs, insects, nonhousehold birds, and animals with tusks, horns, or hooves, according to The Chicago Tribune. (It’s worth nothing that there’s an exception for miniature horses that are trained service animals, so there’s still hope that you may see one on a flight one day.)

Watch Pratt and Dallas Howard hilariously try to argue that they’re not “just one of those bogus, a-hole couples” and that the velociraptor does provide emotional support.

“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” is due out June 22.

  • Chris Pratt Reacts to Generation Award, Teases Speech of ‘a Brisk 45 Minutes’

Prepare for a special moment — maybe a long one — during the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards.

News came Thursday that Chris Pratt would receive the Generation Award during the upcoming event, and he is psyched. The “Avengers: Infinity War” star reacted to his latest honor on Twitter, and he jokingly indicated that he has already written his speech — one that will be “a brisk 45 minutes.”

Pratt’s tweet came in response to one written by Josh Horowitz, the creator and host of the talk series “MTV After Hours.” Horowitz shared MTV’s announcement about the award and wrote that he wasn’t going to take credit for Pratt being the recipient, but he wasn’t not going to, either. The MTV News correspondent did, after all, dub Pratt “the franchise king” in a 2015 episode of his show and has brought the actor on as a guest many times over the years.

Pratt didn’t mind Horowitz not not taking responsibility. The actor shared his love for the “After Hours” host and MTV, and then made his joke about the length of his speech.

“I love you Josh!” he tweeted. “Thanks MTV!! I just cut my speech down to a brisk 45 minutes.”

We’re not not excited to see his speech in all its glory, however long, during the awards show on June 18.

  • Chris Pratt to Receive Generation Award at MTV Movie & TV Awards

The MTV Movie & TV Awards are getting a major dose of star(-lord) power: Chris Pratt is set to receive the Generation Award at the show next month.

MTV announced Pratt’s selection on Thursday, noting in a video message that the versatile actor has been delighting fans on screens both small and big for years.

Pratt got his break starring on WB series “Everwood,” and later appeared as the adorably dim Andy Dwyer on beloved NBC sitcom “Parks and Recreation.” Using that built-in charm, he made the leap into superstardom as the lead in “Guardians of the Galaxy,” and has since headlined the blockbuster “Jurassic World” series. He also just reprised his “Guardians” role in one of the newly-minted biggest movies of all time, “Avengers: Infinity War,” which itself is nominated for several Golden Popcorn awards this year.

It’s safe to say that Pratt is a smart — and timely — choice for this honor, since he’s been keeping pretty busy these days: His next flick, “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” is due in theaters just days after the telecast. We’re looking forward to seeing plenty more of the star in the coming weeks.

The 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards, hosted by Tiffany Haddish, are slated for June 18.

  • Final ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ Trailer Reveals Scary Dinosaur Hybrid Called Indoraptor

Life finds a way once again in the final full-length trailer for “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.”

This new trailer reveals a lot more of the plot than previous spots. As it was already teased, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) return to Isla Nublar to rescue the dinosaurs from the abandoned park before a deadly volcano eruption wipes them out.

However, now it’s revealed that they are lured there under false pretenses and there’s some nefarious plan afoot involving a shady businessman (Rafe Spall) who actually just wants to capture velociraptor Blue and do some dangerous scientific tinkering of some kind on her. Oh, and the trailer fully shows a new dinosaur hybrid, the Indoraptor.

To be honest, the plot is reminiscent of “The Lost World: Jurassic Park,” in which some bad guys plotted to bring dinosaurs to the mainland and then all hell broke loose.

“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” opens in theaters June 22.

  • Watch Chris Pratt Get Super Serious About Michelob Ultra in Super Bowl Commercial

Premiere Of Neon's 'Ingrid Goes West' - ArrivalsChris Pratt takes every role seriously — very seriously.

The “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” star headlines Michelob Ultra’s Super Bowl ad. In it, he lands the commercial gig and starts preparing. He lifts weights at the gym, goes Method by installing a bar in his house, muses on his character’s back story, and drinks a lot of the beer. Hey, it’s all part of being the best Chris in Hollywood.

But when he shows up to shoot the ad, Pratt gets a big pint of reality.

But despite seemingly throwing back a bunch of beers in the add, there’s no sign of a beer gut on the actor. Pratt shows off a majorly buff body, appearing topless in several shots. His cut physique will also be on display in two big movies this summer, “Avengers: Infinity War” on May 4 and “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” on June 22.

  • Ryan Reynolds Refuses to Choose Between the Four Chrises, Is All of Us

2016 MTV Movie Awards - Backstage And AudienceThere are a lot of hot dudes named Chris floating around Hollywood these days, particularly in the Marvel-verse — but which one reigns supreme? Your answer may differ depending on personal preference (or even just the day of the week), but Ryan Reynolds wants you to know that you don’t have to choose just one.

Reynolds declared his love for the Four Chrises — a.k.a. Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, and Chris Pine — while chatting with some fans on Twitter this week. When one of the “Deadpool” star’s followers asked him whether he thought Hemsworth, Pratt, or Evans was hotter, Reynolds had the perfect response ready (and didn’t leave out poor afterthought Chris Pine, either).

“When ordering ice cream, I like to get all three scoops,” the actor quipped, adding in a follow-up tweet that he’d also add “some Pine nuts generously sprinkled on top” of his dream dish (which is full of dreamy dishes, if we do say so ourselves). That’s definitely a dessert we can get behind.

Of course, Reynolds could very well get to enjoy the company of all the Chrises –minus DCEU member Pine, anyway — very soon: Disney recently snapped up the rights to 21st Century Fox’s film library, and with it, “Deadpool.” We’ll keep our fingers crossed that the actor’s (and our) delicious dream comes true.

  • ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ Video Has Dinosaurs Galore (and Jeff Goldblum)

Dinosaurs rule, humans drool in a new behind-the-scenes featurette for “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.”

The first full trailer for the sequel is expected to drop tomorrow, but in the meantime, feast on this video, which is packed with dinosaurs, explosions, and the first footage of Jeff Goldblum reprising his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm.

“We’re literally blowing up the island,” star Chris Pratt teases. He also gushes that Goldblum’s return is “pretty awesome.” It’s definitely a treat to see Malcolm’s smirk as he talks about dinosaurs again.

The most intriguing aspect of the featurette is the emphasis on animatronic dinosaurs. The first “Jurassic World” was knocked for relying too much on CGI, so it’s nice to see director Juan Antonio Bayona using real, “live” creatures that Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard can interact with.

More details about the movie have been trickling out recently, with trailer teases and Howard providing the first synopsis of the sequel. A volcano is about to erupt on Isla Nublar, threatening all the dinosaurs that have overrun the island. Howard’s Claire Dearing calls up Pratt’s dino handler Owen Grady to help save them.

“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” opens in theaters June 22.

  • We Now Have a ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ Plot Synopsis (Plus a New Trailer Tease)

The plot of upcoming “Jurassic World” sequel “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” has been kept more heavily guarded than a vault of dino DNA. Now, one of the film’s stars has finally revealed a few details about what audiences can expect from the hotly anticipated flick.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, actress Bryce Dallas Howard, who plays former park manager Claire Dearing in the series, says that she and Chris Pratt‘s character, raptor trainer Owen Grady, are teaming up once again. This time, rather than save their own skins, they’re trying to save all the dinosaurs who overran the park at the end of the last film from yet another extinction event after a volcano threatens to destroy the island. And, okay, yes, trying to prevent themselves from also getting killed in the process.

Here’s how Howard describes the situation to EW:

“Claire’s founded an organization, Dinosaur Protection Group, and they’re finding a way to get these dinosaurs off the island,” Howard says. “She reaches out to Owen Grady to let him know this is happening.” Hmm. “Reaches out”? It seems Howard and Pratt’s burgeoning relationship now falls under the heading of “It’s complicated.” “When you see them at the beginning of this story, you get caught up as to what’s going on,” Howard says. “But it’s not what you would necessarily expect.”

So that explains why Claire and Owen would return to Isla Nublar. (Well, kind of. We wouldn’t be so easily convinced to go back to a place teeming with prehistoric beasts that could kill us with one well-timed chomp or stampede, but that’s just us.) And that also helps sort out why they’d seek the guidance of Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum, who’s reprising his role from the first two flicks), who actually has seen firsthand how a T-rex can be transported to the mainland.

A new trailer tease shared by producer Colin Trevorrow offers a glimpse of a subdued dino, likely on its way off the island, along with the Chris Pratt declaration, “This is gonna be awesome.” We can only imagine. Check it out below (and re-watch the first trailer tease here). The full trailer will debut on Thursday.

“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” hits theaters on June 22, 2018.

  • Chris Pratt’s Seahawks Enthusiasm Really Angered Some NFL Fans

BRITAIN-ENTERTAINMENT-CINEMA-FILM-GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2The wrath of some NFL fans is directed at Chris Pratt — all because he had the audacity to be a loud and proud Seahawks fan.

Over the weekend, the actor returned to the state where he grew up to promote “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” and its upcoming trailer. He got to do that by participating in the Seattle Seahawks’ tradition of having a special fan raise a 12 flag ahead of kickoff in honor of the team’s supporters. As a die-hard himself, he was insanely excited, and that made some fans of other NFL teams really, really irritated. Their frustration was evident on Twitter, when people began to complain, suggest boycotts, and virtually shake their heads at him.

Of course, Seahawks fans felt very differently about Pratt’s presence at the game.

You can’t please everybody, so at least Pratt got to live his dream, which included seeing his team win and meeting Hall of Famer Walter Payton.

“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” is due out June 22.
