    Alison Brie and Dave FrancoAlison Brie and Dave Franco are getting married. The young Hollywood couple recently got engaged, as E! Online confirmed with Brie’s rep.

    The “Community” and “Mad Men” star wore an engagement ring last night to a screening of her upcoming movie, “Sleeping With Other People.” She and the “Neighbors” actor have reportedly been dating since 2012, but have been extremely low-key about their relationship (there are hardly any photos of them together).

    The 32-year-old Brie is a versatile actress with credits in both drama and comedy, television and movies, including “The Five-Year Engagement” and “Get Hard.” Franco, 30, is the brother of actor/director/writer/student of life James Franco, and has appeared in “21 Jump Street” and “Warm Bodies.” They both voiced characters in “The Lego Movie.”

    You can see them together on screen in the Funny or Die short “Dream Girl.”

  • Alison Brie Slays Salt-N-Pepa’s ‘Shoop’ on ‘Lip Sync Battle’

    Alison Brie, Lip Sync Battle, Salt-N-Pepa, Shoop“Lip Sync Battle” is returning to Spike with new episodes this Thursday, and what better way to celebrate than a new clip previewing actress Alison Brie‘s domination of Salt-N-Pepa classic “Shoop”?

    Though it’s not the full song — fans will have to wait for the episode to air to see that — the clip still gives audiences a taste of Brie’s impressive lip-syncing skills, and it seems that the petite performer has come to win. Brie makes it clear that she knows the song cold, mouthing the tongue-twisting lyrics with ease, and throwing in some sexy dance moves for good measure. (This isn’t the first time Salt-N-Pepa has appeared on the show, either; the duo came to compete on the show themselves, going head-to-head on a previous episode of the program.)

    If this opening shot is any indication, Brie isn’t going to hand over the “Lip Sync Battle” championship belt to competitor Will Arnett without a fight. Check out this teaser — and Brie’s teasing performance — below.

    “Lip Sync Battle” is back on Spike on Thursday at 10 p.m.

  • ‘Lip Sync Battle’ Is Back With Epic Lineup: Alison Brie, Justin Bieber, ‘Empire’ Cast

    Three mouthed-but-not-vocalized cheers for the return of “Lip Sync Battle”! Spike TV’s epic celebrity showdown, hosted by LL Cool J, was an instant hit when it debuted with Dwayne Johnson vs. Jimmy Fallon back in April. It really picked up steam with the Anne Hathaway vs. Emily Blunt match, traumatized us — in a good way — with Stephen Merchant and later Julianne Hough, then dipped a bit before going on break. Season 1 is not over, but it’s been off the air since May 28. But now it’s back with a vengeance, starting next Thursday, July 9.

    Here’s the upcoming lineup:

    • Andy Cohen vs. Willie Geist — July 23

  • ‘Sleeping With Other People’ Trailer: Jason Sudeikis and Alison Brie Are Just Sex-Addicted Friends

    Sleeping With Other PeopleIt’s the age-old question: Can men and women just be friends? In “Sleeping With Other People,” the question gets a twist: Can a man and a woman, both addicted to sex, just be friends?

    The trailer for the romantic comedy, which debuted at Sundance, shows that the answer is: It’s very, very difficult. “Sleeping With Other People” seems to be an updated version of “When Harry Met Sally.” As Lainey (Alison Brie) observes of her relationship with Jake (Jason Sudeikis), “We’re not a couple, but we act like one.”

    ​Lainey and Jake are old friends who hooked up years ago, and run into each other at a sex addicts meeting. They decide to keep things platonic, even though sparks are flying. Judging by the trailer, the movie looks to be a sweet and funny good time, and Brie and Sudeikis have great chemistry. And the rest of the cast is awesome: Adam Scott, Natasha Lyonne, Amanda Peet, and Adam Brody.

    “Sleeping With Other People” opens in theaters September 11.
