%Slideshow-363069% Everyone makes mistakes — even Hollywood’s best and brightest filmmakers.

Oscar-winning movies aren’t immune to the occasional gaffe, continuity error, or invasive crewmember body part. With that in mind, we’ve gathered a few “Wait? %Slideshow-283707%
It’s no secret: filming a period movie is tough… really tough. A filmmaker’s biggest challenge, of course, is taking a modern city and turning back the clock.

Successfully disguising a location to make the audience believe they’ve actually stepped back in time is no small feat. It requires countless antique props and (very) vintage clothing, and the need to hide all things present day!

Regardless of whether or not the film has successfully transported us back to a different era, there’s usually a mistake or two that slips through the cracks. From “The Godfather” to “Pride & Prejudice,” here are a few “oops” moments from your favorite period pieces.

Think animated movies are error-free? Think again.

Most live-action films are littered with little mistakes here and there, while animated films are produced in a painstakingly slow, one frame at a time. So, naturally, it would make sense for them to be completely polished, right? Nope.

Not even these classic animated movies are exempt. From “Toy Story” to “The Lion King,” here are some of the biggest “oops” moments from animated films. We’re only human.

But that doesn’t mean movie mistakes are any less intriguing. Great comedies like “Groundhog Day” and “Anchorman” can easily brush off the occasional continuity error, though there’s no guarantee that we, as viewers, will just overlook them.
