  • Jennifer Lawrence Reveals ‘Anger and Frustration’ About Life in the Spotlight

Comic-Con International 2015 - Day 1 Jennifer Lawrence is no stranger to the spotlight, but that doesn’t mean she loves it all the time.

At this year’s Comic-Con to promote “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2,” Lawrence chatted with Moviefone Contributing Editor Jessica Wedemeyer about how she’s learning to deal with the anxieties that come with being an A-list actress and the kind of impact it’s having on her life.

“One day, when I’ve made peace with the paparazzi, I’ll regret all of the anger and frustration because it just takes up a lot of time, and it’s not nice,” Lawrence said. “It’s not lovely to feel angry and anxious every day. So I think one day, when I don’t have those feelings anymore, I’ll regret all of the time that was spent feeling anxious over something I couldn’t control.”

That said, Lawrence isn’t about to waste her time on regret. Almost mid-sentence, the Oscar-winner turned the negative into a positive — realizing that there just isn’t any room for regret when it comes to doing what she loves. “I don’t have any regrets, because there really is only one thing I can do on this world to make money,” she explained. “I have one skill, and I love it so much. So anything that has to come with that, I’m willing to accept.”

That’s our girl. “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2” hits theaters November 20th.

  • SDCC: Ben Affleck in Talks to Direct, Star and Co-Write Solo ‘Batman’ Movie

Just as Comic-Con begins, so does a new era for The Dark Knight.

Batman v Superman” star Ben Affleck is reportedly in talks to cowrite a “Batman” standalone film with DC Comics’ chief creative officer Geoff Johns, according to Deadline.

Affleck will also star as Batman and possibly direct, with the latter rumored to be a condition of his deal to don the cowl in “BvS” when he first signed on to that film in 2013.

Deadline also reports that Affleck and Johns, a popular DC Comics scribe, are already at work on a script that the team may finish by end of summer — before Affleck goes off in November to direct the 2016 crime thriller “Live By Night,” based on the novel by Dennis Lehane.

Affleck’s second appearance as the Caped Crusader won’t start shooting until after “Night” is finished, which means we won’t see a solo Batman film until at least 2018 or 2019. Deadline broke the story two days before Affleck and his “BvS” costars arrive for Warner Bros.’ epic Hall H presentation at Comic-Con Saturday.

Before becoming DC’s CCO, Johns was responsible for writing such popular and successful comics runs as “Green Lantern” and “Justice League.” This will mark Johns’ first feature writing credit.

“Batman v Superman” hits theaters March 25, 2016.

Every year when Comic-Con rolls around, one of the biggest things is the epic commitment people make to cosplaying. Some people paint their entire body, some people make their costumes out of literal metal, and some people turn it into a group affair.

  • SDCC: 6 Perfect Bill Murray Moments From His First Comic-Con

Comic-Con International 2015 - Open Road PanelBill Murray attended his first-ever Comic-Con on Thursday, and what the actor lacked in experience at the fan fest, he more than made up for in hilarious responses and general Bill Murray-ness (read: awesomeness).

Murray, who sat on a panel promoting his upcoming comedyRock the Kasbah,” charmed the audience with tales from his long and varied career and witty comebacks to routine questions. Below, we’ve collected some of our favorite moments from his appearance at SDCC (including a run-in with a certain hilarious-in-her-own-right Oscar winner and fellow SDCC panelist).

    – He revealed his Comic-Con breakfast of champions: “We started this morning with bagels and then some tequila.”

    – Asked which of his many roles is his favorite, he alludes to “Ghostbusters” (which is the correct answer, by the way): “Once upon a time, I did save the city of New York, and I had the coolest damn car to drive around Manhattan.”

    – Addressing the rumor that he was once up for the role of Han Solo in 1977’s “Star Wars,” Murray quips that he’s aiming for a part in the just-announced Han Solo spinoff flick: “I don’t know if I was up for the role of Han Solo, I don’t remember. But I am working out now in hopes of getting this new thing, though. Just a lot of swimming and pilates, and I’m really going to work hard at it.”

    – He pledged his love for Miley Cyrus, who he worked with on his upcoming, Sofia Coppola-directed Christmas special: “I’m gonna say this officially: Miley Cyrus is really f–king good. She can really sing. I thought she was a knucklehead, funny girl. She can really sing and she floored everybody. I don’t want to hear anymore bad rap for Miley Cyrus. … She’s a pro.”

    – Murray insisted that he’s not intimidating to work with — though he does have one odd on-set quirk: “I go to work with a knife strapped to my leg; it means people will know their lines.”

    – And finally, Murray bumped into none other than Jennifer Lawrence backstage, as he was leaving his “Rock the Kasbah” panel and she was headed to the “Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2” panel, leaving fans of both with this wonderful photo of their meeting:

Here’s hoping Murray’s first Comic-Con will be his first of many.

  • SDCC: Watch the ‘Hunger Games’ Cast’s Mockingjay Whistle Fail

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2″ — even when they’re trying to whistle a tune from their own movie.

During the “Mockingjay” panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, castmates Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth all tried — and adorably, hilariously failed — to replicate the series’s iconic Mockingjay whistle tone. But the trio, and the rest of their castmates on the panel, just could not nail the four-note melody, which was memorably used by Rue and Katniss in the first film, and brought back throughout the rest of the series as a Mockingjay rallying cry of sorts.

In video of the incident uploaded by Screen Crush, the actors all try numerous times to get the whistle down right, but to no avail. At one point, Hutcherson imitates crickets, which panel moderator Conan O’Brien joked was a frequent sound during his stand-up routines.

Hemsworth comes closest to whistling an actual song, but as X-Files” theme. Still in the science fiction genre, still not quite right.

Check out the hilarious video below, and try not to get too sad when you realize that this is the last “Hunger Games” panel at Comic-Con ever.

“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2” hits theaters on November 20.
