“House of Cards” has done as much as any series to put Netflix on the map when it comes to prestige TV dramas. It succeeds on a combination of intense performances and dramatic political theater. But with everyone suffering from political overload in real life (not to mention the disturbing revelations about star Kevin Spacey), the series has definitely run its course now.
