Former rodeo cowboy Yakima Canutt performed one of the most breathtaking stunts ever in this classic Western. As an Apache warrior, he leaps from his own horse onto the team of six steeds pulling the stagecoach, gets shot in the back, falls off, and appears to get trampled by the horses and run over by the coach. Director John Ford gives you a glimpse of Canutt getting back up after the stunt, in case you were worried.
