Lionel and Ethel Barrymore

Acting legends Lionel Barrymore and Ethel Barrymor (aka great-uncle and great-aunt to Drew Barrymore) both won Oscars. Lionel won Best Actor for 1931’s “A Free Soul” (although he’s best remembered as evil Mr. Potter in “It’s a Wonderful Life.”) Ethel won Best Supporting Actress for her role in the 1944 Cary Grant film, “None but the Lonely Heart.”
