Not only did legendary actress Joan Collins appear in an episode of the original "Star Trek," she played the woman who is arguably the most important of Captain Kirk’s many love interests. Collins played 1930’s social activist Edith Keeler in the episode "The City on the Edge of Forever," which is widely regarded as one of the best in the whole franchise.
