When Jacobson joined Dr. House’s team in 2007, the character actor had enjoyed a brief but memorable scene in "As Good As It Gets" with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia," and "Madam Secretary." The 51-year-old Jacobson continues to appear in recurring roles on cable dramas "Ray Donovan" and "Colony."
